the template is on the way to my place . I order some tools from my dealer to do the relume job , so I just do my best with the tools I own now !
These days , I relume two 063 for practice .
One is mine , another one is from my friend .
And this one is mine , the shape of the number is not so good !
But still satisfied for the result ~~~
So , practice can make the relume job better and better . I will keep trying to make it better till I can relume the dial without any mistake !!
Thanks for the suggestion from you guys , I will keep post new pic from my homework .
i would rather have terribel lume then what you did on the 063, do as The Zigmeister says and practice you have the drive now you need the practice.
Cheers

I used 6months of research before buying my first replica, so why can't others use 20mins?
No reason for being a noob this days, maybe in days here or post count but thats it.

And I personally think new members should do a whole lot more reading of our forum before buying, which would stop a lot of these senseless PP disputes in the first place.

I have had the gen and this is very off.

amazing love it.
I em missing a base model and this makes it even worse i neeeeeed oneeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
but it's a different movemnt, wouldnt you say? Rolex also uses Zenith bases for their Daytona movements. If they were the same, the prices would not differ so much. A Cortebert 616 can be had for 300Euros or so, a Rolex on the other hand will cost you 2.000Euro or more, depending on the condition (if you even manage to find one). The finish is completely different and of much much higher quality. I have seen a NOS Rolex 618 once and it was stunning.
Nevertheless a gorgeous watch. But Rolex>Cortebert
Mr Genius pleas get me 2 more for 300€ ill give you a premium for the find of 100€
Last time i check they go for over 700$ if you are lucky to find one.
Thanks.

Looks fantastic, Dani... If you do decide to use a chieftang cyclops on this one, you'll also want to remove the internal lens over the date window to get the magnification correct. Not hard to do, just something to remember.
Enjoy!!!
Thanks for the advice
Cheers and thanks for the kind compliments all

Nice one Dani...been so busy to take photos of mine, but glad to see yours looking so damn nice .
Wear it and enjoy it my friend, it's been a LONG journey...but that's part of the enjoyment and reward at the end.
dave
Yupp bro.
Time to enjoy this one
Cheers
Congrats Dani...looks amazing.
I think I have to hunt a cyclops and a date wheel for my own 028A
Theo
For sure
Dani that looks fantastic ....sublimely beautiful with the PVD finish and the Tritium re-lume...4-6 weeks and I'll have mine back from Z as well ...I hope!
Out of interest ...what's the serial number on your case - I believe they are all individual as with the original Honpo versions
I have 3 x PAM 27/28 case backs - 332/500, 153/500 and 186/500.
I have 1 on my 27 and 28 ....the 3rd I am fitting to my 022A to make it a correct xx/500 but incorrect OP ....which is the lesser flaw IMHO.
Cheers
FGD
My 28 has 371/500

Dani-Absolutely stunning piece. The PVD came out beautifully as did the whole watch. Wear it well. In fact, the whole team's results have inspired myself and a certain mutual friend and skilled watchsmith to do it for ourselves.

This started of as a Pam 28 bought of the Ioffer seller.
After i got my friends Dave's int we got all mad about this project i mean really mad
So here is the list
Gen Pvd crown
Gen pvd coating old style panerai pre 2000.
2892 based
Relume by The ZigmeisterMagicOne
Service of movement done by the master above

Only thing missing is the DW from Lello that will be on soon.
I might swap the cyclop for one of Chiefs but i need to see first whit Lello dw to make decision.
Big thanks to Dave,Rob,Kruz,Theo and ssurfer for all their help and expertise.

Hi Dani,
Hope you are having a great Holiday Season in the land of Vikings..
On the Advice of my buddy (who is a professional Photographer) I got the "Sigma Macro Lens" .. made for Nikon .. it is a manual , he said .. "learn how to use the manual settings on the Nikon" he told me the manual will produce better images if you can learn how to use it.. so I learned just by experimenting with all the settings .. for light .. in other words I manipulate the light .. not through the lamps .. but through the settings..
.. I am still waiting for Nikon to correct the problems and release their own Macro " (Nikon Macro about 1000 usd) .. all the pro's at the Camera shop tell me not to get the Macro Lens made by Nikon (yet) .. although it is auto.. for some reason .. (that I cannot remember them saying) .. Nikon has had technical problems with it...
you do need a heavy tripod for the macro (manual .. the one I have) .. even though the camera has the anti vibration mechanism.. the macro lens is ultra sensitive.
But then again you are talking to an "amateaur".. I have gotten into the habit of "holding my breath" whist focusing the lens, you can miss the shot easily.. since it is a manual.. that is the reason I take so long with taking the images.. and have to take many for 1 to work (for me) .. I am too picky at times..
hope that helps ..
Aloha~Cheers

Holidays are going great almost over, been almost in constant sleep for the last 2days so to have energy for the 23 to 26des Hope you are doing well over at the warm side
Yeah the Nikon is so high price its insane on some lenses.
I have a tripod and remote but yet to buy a good macro lens.
I have the 18-55 and the 18-200.
Thanks for the advices bro.

Great pics as always thanks.

looks good, still don't know about the 91 dial, looks more blue on the gen. He only needs to improve the caseback datemag and crownguard pin's on his pam's and they are winners
date mag and pin is easy fix.

I have a small collection
and the watch closest to my heart is my breitling emergency a QUARTZ but as its a symbol for me so for that reason i love it and man it looks good.
Great write up Robbie.
Cheers

Yeah Dani thats very true. Hell if Josh's pics were acurate, the safari dial would've actually been close to the correct color.
that would have been nice
an accurate safari dial
Anyone been on the IWC website lately?
