On my computer i had like 12 diffrent phones attaced to BT transfer, when i got iphone i stuck to it.

There seems to be a trend... I shipped a genuine Rolex bracelet to a member a little over two weeks ago. He and I were both originally concerned because the USPS no longer offers tracking for customs declaration numbers on their tracking system. So even after a week, the "tracking number" was shown as NOT IN THE SYSTEM.

Well, yesterday I PM'd the member asking if he had received the package. He replied that he was out of town but that his gf had received the package and it is entirely empty. I am waiting to hear back from him concerning what if anything was used to reseal the USPS Priority mail International flat rate envelope. I dont see why customs would confiscate a GENUINE bracelet unless they simply assume all Rolex parts are fake.

So this ups my count of lost/stolen/damaged items by one. I assure everyone, no exceptions will ever be made for me to ship internationally again. Nor would I ever consider buying a watch from outside the US. Regardless of what others say, its just becoming to risky of a proposition.

Well i think there is a small insurance when you ship registerd about around 50-70euros from europe...

Not sure about the EU, but on the occasion I've had to make an insurance claim on a package that went missing, I had to provide proof of value like a receipt. I've never ever gotten a receipt with a rep so that may be a little difficult to provide.

I dont see that this is in fact true... The specifics should be discussed. The fact that you were in the chain of custody is unfortunate, and I am quite sure no one has implicated you. When Mezzanine shipped a package to me from Canada it was torn open and the contents were missing. I never once thought he had done it, but I did openly state that the package came from Canada.

If Dani had stated that the watch had been with a world class replica watch modder in Canada, would you feel less slighted? Im sure EVERYONE would have been able to put 1 and 1 together and get 3... But your name would not have been mentioned.

Sorry to hear that Dani, I've had many losses in many areas throughout my years, but when it's something personal, it sucks even more.

I think the 063 is the one I sold you so it was definitely one of the special fully modded reps, sorry to see it go. After I missed mine, I had to go and grab Ajoesmith's because I missed it so, perhaps your new PAM 28 PVD project will be your new super rep. You will get your grails back, although it will take time and effort...

In regards to customs, I've sent dozens of watches back and forth with ZERO issues in Canada. It could happen sending the watch to China, Italy, Estonia, Australia...things get lost, and worse...things get stolen...but you shouldn't let one incident change your whole attitude toward a hobby that you genuinely love.

This is by far the worst ever thing to happen for me in this game.

I didn't steal the watch, so my name should not be associated with the fact the watch was stolen.

I am not disapointed that the information is shared with forum members, but disapointed that my name is associated with the fact that the watch was stolen.

I have heard for years that Canada customs is terrible, yet my own personal experiences are totally the opposite. I have never ever had an issue or problem with Canada customs. If Canada customs opens a package (which they do all the time) they tape it with special yellow customs tape. Canada Customs has never taken any item from my packages.

Looking at the way the package was cut open and taped up with clear tape, I would guess that it was done in the EU, probably at the drop off postal outlet. The end of the package was cut open, and folded over and taped back in place. The return address and some stamps are folded over. There is little chance of someone having access to the package in private, and the tape to reseal the package, except for at the postal outlet where it was dropped off.

This is the second time in the past few weeks that information or a topic concerning me, that should have been discussed in private, has been made public.

Jen and I feel terrible that this has taken place, but I think it would have been much better to simply say that a shipped watch was stolen in transit, without mentioning my name.

Many RWG members see this post as follows: The Zigmeister = Canada Customs = Stolen watches, all this does is give ammuntion to those who believe Canada customs are the worse in the world, and it makes me out to be the bad guy, both are unfair and untrue.

Just got a mail from my repair service that my 063 best version was not in the parcel i shipped so in other words been stolen in transit.

Not only my most expensive rep but also very hard to get.

Now i have 3 reps left but my daily one is gone

Well, The Zigmeister has done at least 2 for me. I don't know how many variants of "old cases" there are though and it doesn't mean they all work. One of mine had irresolvable problems but I had assumed it was doe to someone else's botched attempts. I had thought there was one factory which did the original Asian low beat 7750 and then the first generation 7753. The second factory came out with the inferior version but with the better 7750 movement and only after the first factory stopped making them. I believe the actual case itself has the same measurements and location of crown and pusher holes on both new and old. The dial sits at the same height as well. So unless one version has a very shallow caseback they should work (assuming the spacer is as previously discussed and the dateset button is functional).

Ok then i must order a 7753 movment and use my lello dw 7753

The Zigmeister told me non of the older 7750 asian old case can be fitted whit 7753.

Okay....the cards were lousy last night and so were the watches....down $200....ouch....I played a lot of good hands but got beat anyway....finally I went all in with my last $53 on a flush AND gut shot straight draw....no luck....turns out I had more outs than I though also....I had Kc Qc and the caller had 66....flop was 10c 9h 3c....I needed any K Q J or club to win....wow....

With the exotics I look at it this way, if the animal was killed for a reason (over population, in a game reserve or the like, or perhaps died due to other natural reason) then thats fine. IN fact I suspect there must be some sort welfare group doing just this. Or is it okay to kill some animals like gators, crocs or sharks but big cuddly elephants, pangolins and manchester united fans are unacceptable. I agree... why is it ok to wear gator, which at one time an endangered species in the US, but now overpopulating. Elephants were also at one time endangered, but now in some parts of Africa are overpopulated...
