  1. The GW is a really nice watch indeed:) When I was at ny watchmaker the other day he had a genuine GW that looked to be in mintcondition with no aged tritium dial at all and he was wearing it on a orange rubberstap with a genuine daytona foldingclasp. It was for sure nice looking:)
  2. No it is about as thick as the 703 but still it is much better locking on a vintage sub than the newer 703 crown:) It almost looks the same as the 702 when looking at it from the side:)
  3. That is ideed what I have thanks for the picture:)
  4. Does this crown has the same construction as the newer 703 crown? I mean will it be waterproof on a clarks/7030 tube?
  5. Now some pictures of my high coronet 703 crown ( it is not a 702 crown !!!)
  6. Maybe engraved instead of etched serial number!
  7. Thanks again:) As a matter of fact I still have not payed for that crown, so how much is normal for a crown of this type? It is in VERY VERY nice condition:) Is it more expensive than the standard 703 crown?
  8. Ok thanks alligot:) I just read that post! But I think my crown is a old 703 crown but looks the same as the 702 from the side!!!?? It has a brass tube on the crown and looks very genuine:) I read in that post that there has been 703 crowns with LOWER crown like the 702 crown!? How can I be sure that I got a genuine "old style" low coronet crown?
  9. I just got a 702 crown ( bought as a 703 crown!) I thought but it looks like an 702 crown with the dots closer to the crown and it also have a brass colored tube on the crown like on freddys pictures of a 702 crown. So there is a 703 crown that lokks like a 702 from the side??? It screws in nicely on a clarks/genuine 7030 ( 703!) tube but has a thick o-ring at the bottom of it!
  10. OK but I CAN screw it to my clarks and a genuine 703 tube as well ??? Exactly what is the difference on the tube ? BTW the crown came with a o-ring at the bottom and fits well on the threads!
  11. What is the difference between the 702 and 703 rolex sub crowns? I just got a very nice 702 crown but my question is IF I can use the standard 703 tube for it to be waterproof or if if must be a special tube for it? The 702 crown I have screws in deeper ( bottoms ??) on a clarks tube, so some there must be some difference ?
  12. Almost not possible to see any difference if You do not compare the lume on it as 12 and 6 markers is not glowing at all almost!
  13. Thanks for that very intresting site of how to build a seamaster 300:) I have that braclet as is on that site but have not open the package with it BUT after reading that site I probably will open it:)
  14. That truely is a classic omega I bought the same but without the date directly from watchco in australia. I bought it with both that 1171 bracelet and the meshbracelet and it is one of my favorite watches
  15. Hight difference is 0,45 mm between 2824 and 2836
  16. All the 243 noob V2 I have had had very light pressure when closing but it still is waterproof:)
  17. That case looks GREAT I am in for at least one:)
  18. I thought it is not possible to realign the datewheel as it is printed the wrong way when it is to much to to either side????
  19. Has anyone removed the bezel on the noob 243 V2? Is it the same contruction as on a Rolex submariner ? I want to loctite the markers on the bezel because it would be VERY difficult to get spare ones of the 5 minute markers and 12 a clock marker! I know the markers are attached by screws but to be sure they will not fell off it could be a good idea to put some loctite on them:)
  20. Has anyone bought the latest bezel-set from Clarks and mounted it on the TC sub? How is it compared to the one from TC?
  21. I got a noob pam 219 ( same dial as 112!) with HIGH bar so they do make the dial with the high bar as well!
