I just got a brand new MBW 1680 from a member and it is not fitted with a "bezel Flat Friction Washer" that I thought should be under the bezel !!!?? My MBW 1680 case does NOT have this "bezel Flat Friction Washer" but it feels OK to turn the bezel ! Is a washer normally fitted on the MBW 1680 case and is it needed? And if so, can it fit under the bezel if it has not been fitted with one from the beginning?

I bought a genuine pearl in ebay and mounted it in an WM9 insert but had to use a small round file to make the hole big enogh to fit the genuine pearl. And You can not see any difference on my genuines compared to that one:) Just be very careful so You do not makes the hole to big, just do alittle and then try if the pearls fits. Then clean the surface and then use epoxi glue using a toothpick to apply the glue:) GL

I have had a conversation with one that has both the genuine AND the rep and it VERY minor difference regarding the lumecolor on it! It is only in cloudy daylight that the repdial is a little ( just a little!) more limeish than the genuine! In a sunny day it is the same color on the lume So to make a new V2 would be just a little more different lumecolor and maybe a little less "fat" "9" So my conclusion is that the factory will not make a V2 but You NEVER know in the repworld BUT I like the lume- color that Vac and The Zigmeister has done on the 029M rep MORE than the original repdial so it is up to You which one

YES it has GENUINE DIAL AND HANDS:) And I love it:) It is quite a big difference between the noob 112 dial ( wich is the same as the 219!) and the genuine one:)

The GMT hands jumps like the date does as the GMT hand is conected to the date mechanism by two gears (wheels!) .

I totally agree, go for the swiss eta if You really likes it:) I have send my swiss 029M for service:)

The "only" asian parts in this swiss eta version is just TWO gears( wheels!) that is making it to an GMT movement, ( I know as I have taking my swiss eta apart already !) so I would say it is way more swiss than asian:) And the swiss eta in this pam029M is a NEW swiss eta ( a lot of times the swiss etas are used ones!) and that is VERY rare to get those days. But the asian can work for years without problem also:)

That IS the nicest pam rep ever made I think! Why use the eta 2892-2 when You can by the SWISS eta 2836-2 ??? If You do not play with the GMT hand so much maybe it will last??

I would go for a 029M with SWISS eta for sure but that is just me ( I do not like the asian eta 2836-2!)

And of course I forgot to agree with that the endlinks from the TW sub is WAY better than both the WM9 V2, V3

I have both the TW sub and the WM9 V3 sub ( and also the WM9 LV, V3 !) and I think that the TW case is as nice as the WM9 but You have to shave the CG:s on the TW sub case. The V2 AND the TW sub has incorrect crown position ( by 0,45 mm to low ( WM9 V3 uses eta 2824-2 compared to eta 2836-2 in TW sub !) . And the V3 WM9 has better (higher!) crownposition but on the WM9 V3 case the material at the CG is machined down a little to much! So both has cons and pro! On the WM9 V3 the genuine bezel -insert fitted without sanding it down. Regarding the clickspring, I have chaged the standard one with a one from Clarks that is way better than the standard spring:)

Thanks st4! The spec is: Old cartel case from 2006 Caseback is the extremely rare ( thick one as the genuine !) and correct caseback for a 061 from 2006!? Dial old EL from Goin and relumed Genuine eta 6497-1 T48 crown CG is old school cartel body with Seads ( rubber inside as the genuine!) arm I am VERY happy with this build and it is a defintive keeper for sure

Ask Goin on (RWI!) He can get a EL 118/061 dials and also relume them
