woke up today and i felt like taking a few pics:D im about to mod my second fiddy so it was a good chance to take a few pics of it unmodded so i put on two of my 231414 favorite straps (im a risti what can i do... ) and ... hope you enjoy it

i would add two wire lugs (aka radiomir) rotate the dial and mod it into a wrist watch, i can wear 52mm case no prob ...

it's always a matter of getting used to it, in a few months if you switch to a bracelet or a normal strap it will look... funny!

i had a talk some time ago with my dealer (hes not a member of any of the forums) he told me if he desided to offer his services on the forums he could also offer movement servicing, he lives in Thailand (he is not asian tho) and he has a full time watchsmith. Because he get many watch in parts he has some full time guys to assemble service anything he gets if you guys want i can ask him how much a service of a specific movement costs and make contact directly with him After doing business with him for over a year i see him now more as a friend and his services have always been excellent /edit a holly resurection, and i replied ... lol

i hope to have a gen 249 some time next year. would so much like to get a 127 but the prices have gone mad on these babies! cali dial is sooooo nice (dont post pic of your cali V cause im gonna cry )

yeap the same here, i love diver watches because of the dial simplicity, thats why i like panerai, simple dials, elegant shape. the 127 is a dream, now panerai is making 47mm watches with the p.2002 movement buuuut... date - gmt - power reserve etc, i hate gmt on panerais and power reserve i hope they will remake 1950 with a different name and p.2002 but keep the dial simple.
