I am feeling it. It has euro style with some american horsepower. That means that it will look great while being broken down on the side of the road

Nice SE-R. I am into cars myself. Love my G Make sure and keep the GF happy by getting her some jewerly or the like. It always makes any hobby go over a lot smoother. If you make and pay your own way others views on your hobby shouldn't be of any relivance.

Can't help but like the navitimer

I believe they do make the graphite dial with the diamond bezel so I would go for it.

I understand the need for everyone to make sure it will fit there version of the santos. 44mm should be the chrono santos and this dial won't fit because that is the wrong watch. The chrono santos dial is actually pretty close I will make sure it should be able to fit the standard 42mm santos 100. I will check with the maker to get a final word. I think the santos 100 should really only have one case size, All those other versions of the santos are for ladies or dumont version. I won't be putting my own dial in as I will have one of the trusty modders around her do that. Maybe one of them could give a group disount on multiple dial installations? just a thought.

The dial will be better than anything available today. So at least everyone can have a super rep santos 100 finally. As for a strap...I would get one from HKTAN or maybe you can get one cheaper through one of the other strap dealers on the forums. If you guys are going to go for a strap then I would opt for a gen croc strap. This will really transform the watch. I did sale the BCE but I ended up buying the new V2 with the better dial.

What kind of mods do you have on your santos woody?
-
What's up Guys.. Wooooodyyy....How you doing man?? Let me give everyone an update. First: To everyone searching for a correct santos 100 through our trusted dealers....well, good luck I have searched high and low with no luck. Second: I have recently sent my donor dial along with some documentation on what needs to be corrected and it is now in the process of being produced. Third: Now let's bring up that dreaded subject...Cost. In a perfect world I would produce this dial and in an epiphany of philanthropic greatness I would give it to everyone in need of a perfected santos. In the real world this project is not cheap for the 20 dials I am producing it has cost me a good deal of money and time. What's it going to cost me you say? Not sure just yet but expect a price point around 45 bucks (sorry corgi). Believe me fellas if my cost wasn't so much then my price point wouldn't be so high. If at all possible I will try to get it to everyone cheaper but don't expect mircles I the coming weeks I should have a prototype dial to post up so everyone can see what they are getting before it even goes into production. If anyone has any questions just PM me.

Need help with Evo v2 dial choice...quick!
rocket754 replied to mezzanine's topic in The Breitling Area
another pic to show you how good the V2 dial really is.. -
 who would buy that crap??
-
if only it was that easy. They basically would need a hi res scan of the gen dial but since nobody has a dial to donate this is our only alternative. The dial I took out of the cheap asain santos was about as good as it's gets but it needs to be printed on swiss dial blanks and hopefully I will have a picture of a prototype for all to quality control in the near future. The problem will also be that I won't have very many to sale so first come first serve when I get em.....
-
wow...good work. This will help for sure. Thanks for taking the time on this
-
unfortunately, all I have is the pics for the moment. The sample dial has been sent out for production. The texture of the asian sample dial really makes it hard to get a good pic.
-
Excellent. Thanks for helping here Pug My goal is to make these instructions so simple a 2nd grader could understand what I am wanting Anything else we should correct?? Just so you know they will be printed on blank non textured dials like the ETA versions of the Santos 100.
-
Thanks Pug. If anyone else wants to point out the major flaws other than what I mentioned feel free.
-
don't worry abou the quality of the first pic. I just need something spelling out the changes for them. It's not a reference pic. Yes, the first pic is my replica dial that this project is based on.
-
As a last bit of help for my corrected dial project I am calling out for any member that can help me draw in a arrow to the flaws on this dial. Here is what I need someone to draw arrows to and type the text to the side of the pic. I have printed out hi res pics on a color printer but would like to have an image to send to the production people so they have it spelled out and something that can be viewed on a computer rather than hardcopy pic. 1. Roman numerals X and XI need to properly alligned 2. The gap between roman numberals IX and X needs to be closed 3. The "swiss made" under the roman numberal VI needs to be spaced properly. Also included is the gen for reference. any help is greatly appreciated. here is this replica dial pic if you prefer
