  1. sorry to disappoint you, but your watch is a replica. Here's the real thing - do you want me to point out the differences? Just because a watchmaker says it's real doesn't mean it is. Many "watchmakers" work primarily with quartz watches, and are not up to date with the exact movements of genuine watches. Heck - the watchmaker probably hardly ever sees a mechanical Omega. He only knows it is an ETA, which is what the replica has. Bottom line is, if the watchmaker couldn't tell the difference, then he's not a good watchmaker (or at least has been hiding in a cave).

  3. Adam said to me "I hate church-goers, they're full of gossipers, hypocrites and liars. Find me a church with decent people and I might consider attending". I said to him: "I know of a church like that. They have a perfect standard: if you lie, you are excommunicated. If you even utter one bad word you are cast out. Each member has a mentor who constantly monitors whether they are properly treating family members without losing their temper and with Christ-like patience". Adam said "bloody crap! Who can follow that standard?" I replied "Nobody - that's why today's churches are open to normal, imperfect people like you and me".
  4. Exactly. If riches were evil, God would never have rewarded Solomon with lots of it. The Bible never says money is evil (as is often misquoted), it says "the LOVE of money is the root of all evil". It is in fact the WORLD that teaches that Christians be poor - not the Bible. Did you know Jesus himself was wealthy? He was so wealthy that people cast lots for his underwear. People think that only "3 wise men" came to his birth - it was in fact a whole boatload of kings from all around the region who came to his birth - they brought 3 gifts: gold, frankenscence and mirrh. He was so rich that he had a treasurer who frequently helped himself (Judas), and he had at least 2 houses. (the verse ".. but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head" refers to the fact that he was an itinerant preacher - not that he had nowhere to live!) When it came to feeding the 5000 men, his disciples ask "where are we going to buy food at this time" - they never said "how do we pay for it!" Let's see 5000 men, maybe 10000 children, and maybe 5000 women. That's about 20000 people. How much money do you think it would have cost to feed 20000 people? Teachings of poverty was NEVER in the Bible. It in fact came from the monks. When the Roman empire integrated the state with religion, a group of people disagreed because they associated the integration of state and religion with corruption. They separated themselves and the poverty movement was born. As for the "easier for a rich man to enter the eye of a needle than heaven": do you know what the eye of the needle was? There is a gate to Jerusalem called the "eye of the needle". This gate was a very narrow gate, so a mule carrying lots of goods could not fit through the gate unless it unloaded first. The problem is people don't understand the context of history, and then they go misquoting verses thinking that God wants us all to be poor. When Jesus said that analogy, do you know how the disciples answered? They answered "then how can any of us be saved?" They said that because virtually all of the disciples were rich! One was a physician, some were very successful fisherman, one was a tax collector. Jesus chose very successful businessmen to be his disciples. The point is: don't judge. Wealth is good. No-one listens to a poor man (just look at all those people who listen to Bill Gates and Donald Trump as if they were gods). And nothing can be accomplished without money. Put it this way: to whose best interest is it if Christians are incapaciated by poverty and debt?
  5. Real Rolexes have flat crystals. Only "real watches" have curved crystals
  6. I know what you're saying about the fuzzy feeling. Nevertheless Tenzig did not wear an Exp2 to Everest. (Edmumd Hillary wasn't even wearing a Rolex).
  7. I think it's sad that people no longer appreciate hand craftmanship. Hand craftmanship will never be as perfect as a robot job, but that is precisely what makes it so valuable. The Zigmeister's lume work is excellent, and the watch is more valuable in my eyes because it has some hand-craftmanship on it. That's just something to consider. As others have mentioned already, a rep that doesn't glow right just screams "fake" and I would never buy a rep without getting it properly lumed by an artist like The Zigmeister or finepics.
  8. I think the number one rule to the internet is when it comes to a forum versus a web store - always trust the forum. Any website (or person for that matter) that feels the need to trash its competitors needs to be avoided at all costs. If a company/person feels it necessary to trash its competitors to survive, then its products are not worth considering.
  9. there's no value me doing that. The emails she sends is exactly like the one above, except the watches change. I think every time you have a new picture on your site, she sends me a new email with a description. It's always been the same photo site, and the email address is legit, because she has responded to it in the past.
  10. it was from a person called "Tanya Yoshii" email: 3075778@gmail.com My first rep was from her, and I met her in ioffer.com. Since then she has been sending me emails about the latest reps.
  11. Below is the blurb I received in an email. Note, that it incorrectly states that they have a Pam89 when they don't since the Pam89 is in Titanium and has an anthracite dial. I love the water-resistance rating description! Gives new meaning to what the "m" means - good for how far you can run in the rain before it leaks! 12. I just checked the donations link. Does that mean I have to donate $5 every month? Or is a one time $5 enough? People here seem to say all it takes is $5, not $5 every month! thanks.
  13. Well gee - I made several attempts to sell my PP chrono (through being cryptic - "does anyone want a PP Chrono"), and no-one told me that all I had to do was to donate $5. I must say, it is not immediately apparent that that was all I had to do!
  14. No function is not the most important - not at all. I started out that way. I used to think function was the most important. Then I slowly got bored of those functional watches. No - style is the most important. Style is what separates a nice watch from a $20 digital watch - not function. Think about it.
  15. are they trannies too? The second one can't be right?
  16. here's a nude video of him.. I mean her... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1xmk_Harisu-Hot-video I don't know about her nipples - look a little small to me. The funny thing is - "rep" is the perfect word to describe her. No matter how good she looks, she just isn't the real thing!
  17. There's a 100% foolproof way, more foolproof than hand or foot size, as sometimes.. sometimes ladies can have bigger than normal hands/feet/throat, and some men can have smaller hands/feet/throat. For example, most Asians don't have a pronounced adam's apple and have smaller hands and feet, which is why many Thai trannies can be hard to point out. Here's the test: 1) Lay out your hand flat on a table, with fingers together 2) a male will always have a longer ring finger than a pointer finger, a female will have a longer pointer finger than ring finger. Works every time, and is undeniable, unlike other tests which can sometimes be unreliable. By the way - I received my watch from Eddie this week, so thankfully no customs problem!!
  18. If you buy an expensive watch, you must wear it. If you don't, you will get sick of it - simple as that. People's favourite pair of jeans don't become their favourite by staying in the wardrobe. What's the point of buying a beautiful watch, if your rep is your "favourite" watch?
  19. agreed. Negative feedback is better than positive for your business. If you want to know why business is slow just ask for negative feedback, positive feedback won't help you. When you business is going well, positive feedback will tell you how to keep going in the right direction, but negative feedback will help you go even further.
  20. what.. the chicken and egg problem? Well I know I'm not going to get poorer if they don't come out with PROPER crowns.
  21. Hey Trusty, I didn't realize you dealers were in such close contact with makers. Can you please ask them to make proper sized Panerai crowns with spring-loads? I would be TOTALLY all over the new Panerai models if only the crowns (the most famous part of Panerai) were done properly, and at least appear to function properly with the spring-load. I can only hope!
  22. yes I understand, and he has replied to me too in the past, just not now. I really don't mind if he's doing that to everyone or to most people, I just hope it's nothing personal with me that's all. I asked him to help me repair something before (the last job), and he warned me not to do it - it was bothering me so I had it done anyway. When I got it back, the problem wasn't fixed, and I told him, but I also told him that it was okay because I understood the risk and he already explained to me that he probably wouldn't be able to fix it. I just hope that wasn't misconstrued as disapproval, because it wasn't - I take full responsibility because he already forewarned me. Have you asked questions while he was on vacation? thanks.
  23. hey there.. just a question - does The Zigmeister answer only some emails/PMs whilst he is still on vacation, and not to everyone? I mean to say: am I the only one not receiving a reply? I just want to make sure I'm still in his good books (I don't think I did anything wrong?) :-( I totally don't mean to bother him - he should enjoy his well deserved vacation, I just want to make sure that his door is still open in the future. thanks!
