  1. Actually two winners - Miss V and RWG!
  2. Wow! Nothing else to say except loving the pics and we are very glad you are spending time here. And yes we agree, this place is awesome.
  3. Wow, those are absolutely stunning. Wear them well. I had been avoiding the current MBW's hoping to wait it out for the seconds at 12 but the Safari looks incredible. Congrats on a great purchase. You may get a PM asking how you source that one. My willpower is waning.
  4. Oops. your're right. Well I asked second or third or something.
  5. Wow, I will be the first one to say if you ever have interesting in selling any of them I am interested. Just remember I asked first.
  6. The original purveyor of MBW when Maria stopped selling was George. I don't know if he is still around though.
  7. That is why I suggested you wait. I believe this is the state of the art - MBK with black dial and SS bracelet: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=64714 A number of folks sell it. This one is offered by Angus here on RWG.
  8. The one you are describing which is currently available is the standard MBK available from a number of dealers. The AP Boutique Scuba version has just come out but it is from the wrong factory with cyclops on the crystal. I would wait and see which of the seconds at 6 or scuba non-chrono version comes out first. Just remember that on the seconds at 6 they will never get the alignment of the pushers/crown or the placement and sizing of the sub-dials correct as the rep uses a 7750 based movement and the gen uses a chrono module placed on top of the base movement. I am waiting for an MBK quality Scuba. That is the one you could wear on your wrist with no worries.
  9. Well the good news is they finally made the obvious Boutique Scuba version with none of the misplaced subdials or misaligned crown/pushers. The bad news is it is coming from the bad factory with a cyclops on the crystal.
  10. Excellent project. Tribal- Very nice work. Genzo - Wear it well.
  11. My pleasure. I am traveling at the moment and did the inevitable yesterday when I left the PAM screwdriver at home and had a standard Bergeon with me. Never again. And on my current favorite.
  12. For those who are tired of scraping their lugs on Panerai's and don't have a gen screwdriver this is a must have. It actually slots into the screw so their is no slippage. I can't attest to the quality of this particular item but the price is right and I bought it as a travel tool. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...N:IT&ih=005
  13. Could have been TZ but I don't remember how I found out about it. But when I found out the seller was in NYC it was too easy to stop over and pick them up during lunch hour.
  14. Wow, thanks for the info V. I own a couple of Le Spezia's (1 came in that bulk purchase) and I was wondering how come the leather and the workmanship was so good. You are a wealth of info. Could be time to make custom buckles though.
  15. Apologies to the members who have already PM'ed Jay for the dial. But we do have to start him off right. I think he is the first member who we have had to lead down the watch food chain.
  16. Jay- On that 10A dial - if you don't sell it you should convert it into a franken. After all, you are on a rep forum. Here is my 03 T dial with gen crown and Jimmy everything else. And with only 5-6 pieces in existence, rarer than the gen. And I am definitely losing it. That green croc strap is looking better and better.
  17. Priceless strap. But what were you thinking when you bought it? We look forward to pics of it on whatever watch you choose.
  18. Agreed. And no one needs to get on a plane. Just log off here and head to rep geeks. Come back when you have had your fill. This topic would have long been closed if not for the pending orders which it sounds like they are being taken care of. I look forward to the resolution of all outstanding order issues and the closing of this loop.
  19. R11co- Since you think Ken is biased. Let me weigh in because you can't claim I have an axe to grind. I am a relatively new mod. He is no more biased than the whole admin team. We are all tired of being called liars, conspiracists or whatever. If you have nothing nice to say or cannot act in a civilized manner you will be banned by me. My pleasure at this point. Got it? And I am not looking for a response. Simply stating a fact.
  20. I may just have to give in. Is the white dial the most accurate version (crown guard and dial wise)?
  21. At this point I hope posts on this thread relate only to the status of watches ordered. Anything else is a waste of time. Those who doubt the admins can continue to do so. If you really feel the whole Admin team and those at 2 other forums are all liars you probably should vote with your feet. For better or worse TTK is gone from this forum - pure and simple. And on a nicer note it is good to hear that people are continuing to get their watches. I trust that will continue as the Admin team has done all it can to ensure that TTK has all the info to make good on all his commitments and no one in Admin has ever accused him of being a scammer. Happy Easter to All! And big congrats to all who were instrumental in the continuing success of the POTR drive. -Kruz
  22. I promise you that what I said is correct. He had to ask me. And if you are wondering why the SS is down to 3 you can thank the membership for that.
  23. I don't have the patience to read the whole thread but I may be the winner/loser. I am on a smaller Carribean island at the moment and if I do my math right I am paying in excess of $7.00 per gallon (1.2 Euros per liter).
