  1. Hey Steve- Belated Happy Birthday. Now where were we? Oh yeah the Font. But I am the last one to criticize. I have just sunk to a new low - I just picked up a set of gen 2893 hands in tritium. Putting them on my 2893 and will use the color for reference when reluming the 187 and Subs. Now, if only I could get someone to apply tritium. Hey, no guts, no glory.
  2. That crown has character! When you get a chance Tommy, please try these and the 2.0 on the 2893 GMT's. They are the ones with three crown positions. I also am eager to see it in any case. I think I still prefer the 2.0's for anything other than the historics. Will the same crown fit all models? I would like them for 7753's, 2893's 7750's and Unitas.
  3. Finepics- Go get it. Quarks- You really make me laugh. You want to post some pics.
  4. You should have zero confidence that the pictures have anything to do with what he is selling. For starters, the description does not match the watch. The description is for an automatic movement with a date on it.
  5. When it rains, it pours? I didn't know they were being offered either.
  6. Big Congrats. I am stuck in meetings but will catch up over the weekend.
  7. Actually, I have had gens next to reps a number of times and that is not the flaw that screams it out. Even on the gens the exact font and sizing can vary depending on the model, the year and the subcontractor who is doing the screening.
  8. Usually no slower than Paul, far better though.
  9. Fabulous watch. Love the vintagizing. Is de-bluing a word?
  10. I suspect you're weekly rotation will become a monthly one and you're wallet may end up somewhat lighter. You're friends may also be wondering how you came up with a million dollars for you're new watch collection as well.
  11. Actually, I kind of added this loop to my A-list of season finales on the tele over here in the states. This is the only finale where nobody died.
  12. You might ask Ken at ETA World Goods as Watchonpo sells them separately and he sells their stuff.
  13. For those who like the automatics, here are all the gens for comparison: PAM 63 GMT: 27A Silver Arrow Power Reserve: 196 and 188 Daylights: Now I am totally confused. I would have guessed 2.0 with virtually no bevel would have looked the closest.
  14. Tommy- This is an earlier picture from you're post on the defunct RWG I: I liked these the best, what size were those?
  15. Unbelievable. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
  16. Big thanks. You just saved me a slug of money - at least until the defects are sorted out.
  17. Fabulous read. I think they made a movie on this one - "Conspiracy Theory". My two takeaways are RWG 1 is gone and we'll never know what really happened so everyone can speculate away. Most importantly, thanks again to all the creators of rwg.cc. By the way, I wil be posting my SYlvester Stallone Toaster as soon as I get my camera back. The detail on it is fantastic.
  18. I.ve been involuntarily blown out as well.
  19. We shall see. I am logged in on a computer which has not been turned off in more than a year.
  20. Where was this co-admin when we needed him. When I think of RWG I think of Lord of the Flies.
  21. All of them except Santa who ships from the North Pole. You didn't mention that continent.
  22. Isn't that the limited edition "Davinci Code" Rolex. Five made and Tom Hanks has one of them. Actually I buy the guy with a hangover story and if it is one of the usual dealers he will replace it.
