  1. Thats one might fine looking watch , hope its a nice as the photos
  2. I seriously doubt they are different watches. I have one of the old CHS versions they are good watches I got mine from Josh, $358 seems quite steep though I think there are cheaper versions
  3. Nice collection you have there. Try Josh or Andrew for your AP From Andrew
  4. How nice is that buzz of nervous anticipation? Will or Won't it arrive, and have I been sold a Dud , will it be intercepted by customs etc. Those were the days. Enjoy them whilst you can. As for rolex braclets , they are all pretty flimsy even in real life Pre the Ceramic versions but once you get used to them anything else feels too bulky. But you might want to oil it and use a polishing cloth to smooth off those rough edges. Keep posting your purchases
  5. I don't think there was an other version from the Cartel. So this is it. I have his 24A they are really nice watches
  6. Thanks Pete Nice Find and I have never seen this Sub, so its been very enlightening
  7. I had to re log in today on my Mac & BB , I could read all the posts but not reply
  8. If you are looking for perfection then the DSN is way off the mark, otherwise its the only current option. I'm not actually sure if even makes them still. Davidsen would do well to revisit the brown dial I for one would like an improved version. I still like mine though
  9. I guess we should take the silence as a bit of a No
  10. I hear you , perhaps you should see if you can wait to get a better non PVD version like this
  11. Now thats a proper post , wonderful effort thank you
  12. Always helps to post a picture of what you are after Some guys have had there 212/253 PVD'd or DLC'd and built their own but that would be at least $600+ or there abouts Watcheden has some cheapos which are similar but not quite a 332 Or a Better option could be this and the cheapest is this one at 138$ you get what you pay for
  13. There are loads of posts on these, well perhaps not many on the 104 as of yet , you can't get any better than this current crop, so you want Date and an Auto , or manual and a logo ? Buy both easy really
  14. Pete , HHHMMMMM its is you Things have changed generally for the better rep wise it started with DSN's PR's then , the A7753 Chrono's, Neither of which seem to get a look in these days. and now the 000/005's and the 111/112/176/177 are all pretty fantastic these H's & Noobs well they don't need modding. My first 177 had a crown like a Lego Cog its needed changing once I got the knowledge but now Out the box is superior in so many ways and modding costs to much with to little gain on these. Anyway did you ever finish the Deployant clasp review ?????? I agree with MMD & MaxM this place isn't that welcoming for the newbie either which don't really help, perhaps I need to hit that like button a bit more
  15. Nice post with the Pics and descriptions. The 212 is a 1950 type case. Though generally confined to the radiomir case set, the 1950 can also descried as "Cushion or Pillow" in shape. The 1950 was 47mm and way too big for my puny wrists but its appeal was evident so they made shrunken versions with the domed Crystal in to a few Chronograph models 212 253 etc Pete has great posts on them . This is what you have stated you like. I'm not sure if it was a cop out cos the crystal dome's are probably more difficult to make, but they then made the 312/320/359 which has a similar 1950 case but with a flat Crystal . If the 1950 is too big for you there was a "fantasy" mini fiddy made and I think some of the Vintage Rads were/are less than 47mm. Cheers ST4
  16. Looks good to me, crystal nice and clear to and some tasty leather
  17. Such an individual looking piece thanks for sharing
  18. It looks top notch , but that CG lever gap looks huge are they all like that? Here is a Gen's
  19. Great Lume shot , and very amusing "Night" Shopping look.
