Yeah i have mine come to work too...only going to be so long before she stops saying 'They all look the same to me' that one has kept me out of the dog hose for the past few months but i'm sure it wont last!

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your positive responses.I was dead nervous about upping my pics but now I'm glad i did It has been an expensive three months and i am sure my girlfriend is going to kill me when she clicks as to how many new watches have appeared...but she is happy with her Gucci for the moment @chrgod. I love both the evo and the blackbird (brushed bracelet in the air on its way to me as i type).The blackbird dial is amazing and i love the big date but that pearl takes some ignoring! The evo is a classy watch on leather and i think is very accurate to the gen, a sales rep in an AD i went into to try the BB before i ordered it commented on how he loved the look of the brown leather with the slate dial so i let him try it on and he didn't flinch, so either he is massively inexperienced or its a spot on rep! That said i think the BB just has it in the presence stakes. Be lucky people

So, I have been floating around the forum for about three months now and have used the knowledge i have found to purchase a few watches and thought it was time i shared my collection. The photography is pretty lousy as i don't have a very good camera (just a Sony point and shoot) but i have read Pugwashes tutorial and tried my best, Thanks Pugwash for the tutorial Hope you enjoy the pics and any comments are welcome, either good or bad...we all have to start somewhere right? It's a rep. I spotted this one last time it was sold and was too late to tell ebay but informed the guy that won it to get it checked by an AD. This he did and they confirmed it was a rep I cant believe he is trying again!

I have both and i think that the aquaracer is better quality and feels more solid (fooled an AD too!). That said the UPO is also a nice watch if you have the wrist for it and has the advantage of the swiss movement. If i had to make the choice between the two i would go for the Tag..but then that is just my opinion. Good luck with your purchase

After a busy evening Father Christmas decides to stop off at a pub for a well earned drink. Whilst sat at the bar, chatting to the barman, a tramp(bum) runs in and asks the barman for a toothpick. Father Christmas reasons with the barman and reminds him of the season of goodwill to all men, the barman relents and hands the tramp a toothpick, the tramp snatches the toothpick and runs out of the pub. Five minutes later the same thing happens, a different tramp runs in asks for a toothpick, the barman gives him one and he runs out. This carries on for half an hour until another tramp runs in and asks for a straw. 'A straw?' asks the barman, 'All the others wanted toothpicks, whats going on?' 'Well' replies the tramp 'One of Santa's reindeer has been sick........... and all the best bits have gone!'

as to the screw down crown turn it anti clock wise whilst pressing in untill you feel the first thread click in and then tighten this way you will never cross thread the crown

Yip.Tried clockwise and anti clockwise but nothing It hasn't been adjusted between 9pm and 3am either so i dunno what it could be...i can live with it,it's just annoying.Oh well i suppose i will have to wear it all the time to keep it wound

Got my new blackbird today and I'm loving it,the dial is gorgeous! I seem to have a prob with the quickset date though..it just doesn't work. The date has to be set by advancing the time...nightmare! Anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance

I knew i was probably worrying about nothing with the time of year and everything....just dont like to think of my lonely blackbird sitting in a warehouse all unloved Hopefully it will be with me before Xmas along with my seamaster chrono and my super sea dweller. Hi all. A bit of a noob question I'm afraid. I ordered 3 watches from one of the dealers we all talk about on this forum at the beginning of December (04/12/07). I have had pieces from this dealer before and always had excellent service and the watches have taken 5-7 days to reach the UK from China. However this last bunch are taking a bit longer..the EMS tracking says they where dispatched from China on 06/12/07 and the parcel force tracking (UK delivery company) says they left origin country on 06/12/07....but then nothing I know with it being the Christmas period that things will take a bit longer but i an starting to worry that the sticky fingered customs had got hold of them. Can anyone from the UK tell me if they have had this problem before and if i am worrying about nothing? Many thanks

I agree with what has already been said.My Tag Aquaracer has single sided AR on the inside of the crystal and does have some glare,alot less than with no AR as with my LV sub. The blue/green/purple colour you see in an AR coating are the colours in the light spectrum that the AR cannot dissipate and so only those colours are visible. Hope this helps.I have had all my reps from Andrew and find him to be very honest and accommodating if you have any issues with a rep he sends. Be lucky people
