  1. Some folks just get a kick with their exhibition of replicas. Well, they seem to have forgotten how some experts in this line is able to tell a rep from a gen in a heartbeat. Passing off a replica as a genuine is an ongoing problem and will not cease as these show-offs will continue their rampage behind the safety of their "user id's /nicks" behind their internet connection. What's worst in fact is how these twarts even have the audacity to committ fraud by taking their replicas, photographing them, and posting them up for sale at a much discounted price next to genuines.... Sheesh....greed, next to showing off, one of the many deadly sins...

Hi David, I just gotten an email from the folks at Ken Trading too. Seems like the 2 counters are unstable and no longer up for release + production. Which pretty much leaves the potential customers with the 7750 Chrono movement. For under $ 1000, I reckon this will be quite a good buy...been contemplating for the past 2 hours too. Decisions, decisions...
  3. Just sent a PM to EL. Thanks for rounding up the peeps for the group buy Richard Tracy. This will be my 2nd 63C except in 2893 movt. Wear your swiss movts in good health! Cheers! sennsi
  4. Hi Richard Tracy, I just liased with EL 2 days back and was coincidentally gonna get the 63C in swiss movt until I saw your thread. Do put me down for a 63C at $ 435. Thanks! sennsi
  5. Hi kruzer00, I've been slipping into the likings of Rolex's these days and it's kinda drifting me from my PAMs...NOT! Seems like most of wrist time is with my rep PVDs (pam195 + 5218/201A) , I am hoping to get one with a "genuine PVD finish", or 2 for that matter. Bet that 200gram monster has been getting lotsa wrist time eh? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6. Hi David, Nice pics and much thanks for the update! I love both 5218-201/A as well as 202/A. If you are making both, I am ordering both. Can't wait for the final products! BTW, I love 2 hand dials too, especially on PVDs. Best regards, sennsi
  7. Congrats on your new Panerai acquisition! Although you might want to consider another PVD pam that was acutally released by Panerai (PAM195, 4A, 9B....etc) The version with the carbon fibre dial is actually released on the Power Reserve model PAM28. For the more correct looking PVD casing you can PM Davidsenjpn or locate his dedicated forum at: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=72 For relume jobs, The Zigmeister would be the man for the job: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=74
  8. Mister Ng, Well, I see you've made your presence in this thread but what's your stance on the topic of EL and his comments made on the latest PAM 092? Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one. (in the real world) If Eddie Lee had really put his descriptions out like bres3000 had put it, then I must apologized for the richness in my comments. Until then, I find that taking someone's literary work and summarizing it into your "perceived" manner is simply uncalled for. If you enjoy queers double talkin' jive characters, well, be my guest. I have no qualms with that. whoever interests you online is generally out of my bounds. If you feel the need to profess your attraction to a certain individual, feel free to do so. As to bres3000's comment on my alledged nested nepotism: I've not bought anything from Eddie Lee (yet) that makes it enough for me to favour one dealer over another. (which isn't the point atm)
  9. Hi The Zigmeister, I've been facing the same problem for about 2 hours now. Been fine before then.
  10. maybe you should start learning to read the posts instead of filtering what you want to process. Why should anyone tell you anything? alledged 187? I couldn't care less about what you have to say much less what is sitting on your pathetic wrist. In all honesty, you don't even deserve to be here. Guess we all know how much education have brought you thus far. Insulting a trusted dealer who was merely trying to convey an updated prototype model that is soon to be premiering, I guess your forum productivity is on par with your intelligence. Wake up and open your eyes or the sun will continue to shine on your egoistical ass when everyone here is moving on. I vote bres3000 for President / #1 Monkey on every dealer's back! BTW, you insinuated EL's intentions by your uneducated "replica" analysis and I would have to tell you that your presence here will not be appreciated any longer than you can say "Fiddy". What an anger ball! LOL! Good luck with the real world out there!
  11. Movements from Thailand have yet to fail me once, except for a crown glitch on a 111 a couple of months back. Highly recommended for the price.
  12. Hi dadog13! Yes both 187's are from Ken
  13. Rep Diesel jeans were spawning all over eBay the whole of last year. Not worth the money imo. You can easily tell by the Diesel tag and the quality of the wash in general. Expensive jeans they are, but the cutting and comfort + wash & design, we're basically paying premium for stuff that are tailored in small amounts. The price of Diesel jeans skyrocketed with the Zathan series (Mens) in 2002 with a pair costing up to USD $ 250. The plateau has been laid down eversince. There used to some phpbb-based forums at www.honestdave.com about telling gens from reps but looks like they are gone now.
  14. LOL! I know what you mean but that weighing scale is strictly for cooking Sure would love to return back to the good ole days of "you know what" but these days, just ain't worth the risk + sanity is much more appreciated these days.
  15. As promised (for you kruzer00) Fresh images hot off the press... Turns out that a weighing scale is nearby and Quarks and I decided to weigh these beasters up! Quarks's PAM 187 sennsi's PAM 187 As you can see for yourselves, these PAM 187s which I initially thought was around 170grams turns out to be more than 200 grams in weight! No wonder I've been getting wrist-aches these few days lugging this PAM187 around. Some more group shots!
  16. Thanks kruzer00! Yeah, maybe we'll get a group pic up really soon! How's your 187 coming along? Can't wait to see yours. Cheers! 2 additional pics:
  17. If a company uses UPS for their priority shipping services, I would steer clear of them. Been burnt by too much brokerage fees by UPS and I would rather DHL or FedEx have my money than them. Death & Taxes - the 2 certainties in life we'll always strive to escape but end up failing. The governments around the world will squeeze us dry before we fulfill our duty to pay off our inevitable debts laid upon us...
  18. Damn! Is that car approved for roads yet? Sure would love to go for a test drive....
  19. been giving my PAM 187 a lot of wrist time....this 170+ gram monster is really a heavy beast!
  20. Now that VC is certainly a Big Whopper of all gens.... With 1.5 mills, that could cetainly make up for all of our reps combined here at RWG!
  21. Posted this at TRC, thought you RWG'ers would like a peek at the new Arrival of the Chronozilla. Enjoy!
