  1. that's not the secs @ 12 and 6 - that's the quartz-version with the secs @6 and the 60-min counter @ 12
  2. I love this watch -but my wrist is too small. btw: imagecave suxxx...
  3. zooming out again... I like the DOF on this shot:
  4. I noticed this difference on my watches also, but it is a result that the bigger teeth are on the 18k and the smaller ones are on the 21.6k movement. the balace wheel looks a little bigger, maybe its a low beat swiss?
  5. posted the pix already, but I think they fit in this thread as well
  6. btw: the screw from the swanneck doesn't touch the regulator...
  7. great idea - and I have an empty wall as well. let's have a look what my gf thinks of it
  8. oh, sh**! did I tell too much???
  9. took again the 50mm lens inverted and had a look to my watches: the date of the 3717: the hands of my 183h: the dial of my 177h: and some shots of the 6497 high beat:
  10. not perfect - but really close are: Porsche Flat 6 IWC 3717 V1 Breitling BlackSteel (in my opinion )
  11. tried to take some shots with the 50mm inverted very intersting effects. The 3717: and the Mini Fiddy:
  12. functional PR is coming http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=81550&hl=
  13. Maybe helenarou can help you http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZhelenarou
  14. 59 would be perfect - but I wouldn't care much about it... I used a plastic-toothpick for the crown. I have this watch!!
  15. waiting for a mini-fiddy from sead...
  16. can it be that you're talking from two different reference-numbers? like these two: IWC 3717 and the IWC 3706
  17. second that - each 22mm strap will fit by squeezing into the 3717...
  18. fake!! dark canon pins on the sub dials... triangle @ 12 not big enogh. btw: minute counter not reset 2 zero... german daywheel - I know it can be ordered by the factory but it's not common...
  19. lug size is 21mm - not very common... there are two versions of the kevlar - the old one is textile and starts to fray out the new one ist rubber with texture. I had the older one - unfortunately it was too long for me so I sold it again... kevlar on ebay I know this is for 20mm but I've bought it in 21mm, I think they have them from time to time in 21mm also
  20. wow - looks really good. finally we see on your vintage watches the movement throu the back
  21. 3717 and bracelet from trusty: kevlar strap from the watch boys on ebay: a leather strap from the watchsmith around the corner: gen chronoswiss gator from ebay: and my favorite beside the bracelet - my velcro skinny from gasgasbones.com:
  22. this would be the best thing that could happen but it's hard to believe... keep us informed when you get it
  23. according to the relatively deep recessed subdials it seems to be the v1. but that's really hard to tell. the AR in the first pics doesn't look better than the standard on the V1 but the last one looks like V2 AR. I don't like the V2 dial because it screems rep in the dark and the different colors on the dial and on the hands looks cheap. but anyway - it looks good on the pics
  24. 3717 V1 better dial with accurate lume. looks good - enjoy the waiting!!
