You have to press both sides of the springbars simultaneously and then press the bracelet out of the case.
I grinded both sides a little because it fitted so tight that I hardly got them back in. but only very little that there is no gap.
It's a very poor quality strap. go for another strap, maybe gen gator of different brand - the buckle is quite good, but very sharp edges.
could this movement
fit into a project-watchcase from a fiddy? it looks really similar to the old rolex movement.
this movement looks much better than the new russian molnija movements and they're not so expensive on the bay.

I know this thread was some time ago - but now I'm seeking a mini-fiddy myself and found this pics.
Just wow! I love this watch. I must have one and thanks for the advice with the plexiglass.
here are some quick pics of my little watch collection:
here we have a "selfmade" Omega Seamaster (with ETA2824), a gen TAG Heuer Kirium Automatic and an old gen Glash
Breguet dials are silver-plated gold-dials or emailled. So it should be silver. But I think this one
http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...;products_id=13
should have a silver dial although the description says it is white. An email could clear it.
Got mine with a 21.6k so it was clear to swap it with a swiss 7750 from the bay.
No problems and keeping perfect time.
Ofcourse I used also k2222's great service to let my crystal disapear...
I'm not so sure about that all reps have brass (or brown) pinions.
I think that there are different types on the market.
The pinions on my 3717 are looking quite silver.
In comparison to slai's pinions they're really bright.
the XVI is defenitely one of the most beautiful watches and I would buy it as soon as it would be availabe.
...and I know an adress for a good double AR
