  1. Looking good man. I can`t wait to receive mine!
  2. I`m not sure why, but Trusty is quoting a price of $128 in the dealer section here while the price is $98 on his web site (www.tt88time.com) I paid $98 plus shipping. A total of $120-something.
  3. Looks good enough for a $98 watch to me. I ordered one!
  4. I took the "cousins" out for some pictures. My very first watch pictures ever as a matter of fact (with the exception of a wrist shot or two). I posted it in the Rolex section since I don`t really think it qualifies as "eye candy". A Pepsi dial GMT II and a blue dial TT BKMariner. I had to hide my lack of talent with a Photoshop action. Hopefully I`ll learn as I go so I won`t have to always do that. The GMT has some overgrown CGs, but otherwise I`m not familiar enough with the model (+ I`m very much a Noob) to spot the flaws which I`m sure are there. In any case, it has a good feel to it and is my favorite watch along with the BKMariner which of course needs no introduction.
  5. I have a noob sub with some "war wounds" that I was thinking about selling, but since it has a WM pearl installed, maybe I should get the lite SD and use that pearl on the SD instead..hmmmm
  6. According to Trusty`s web site and post in the dealer section here, the $98 ($128 on the forum for some reason) Sea Dweller light is the same as the SSD, but with an Asian movement. Has anyone bought it and can confirm this?
  7. Wow! That`s what I call a unique watch. Great job my fellow Norwegian!
  8. Great watches. I love the sleeve too! I think you owe us a full body shot of the boss (you) wearing the Pjs though, after that interesting story:-)
  9. I`m in video, mostly in post production.
  10. Tjena and welcome! I`m afraid I can`t help you with that specific watch either.
  11. Absolutely. This forum ! Welcome!
  12. Very nice. I received the exact same watch from BK a few days ago as well. It`s a true beauty in person. Pictures don`t do it justice.
  13. Blue. It`s the contrast between the gold and the blue that does it for me. A black dial sub might as well be an SS if you ask me.
  14. My AV is a close up of one of my turtles. I keep freshwater turtles as a hobby. My main interest is snakenecked turtles from AustralAsia. The turtle in the picture is "Nessie", a female Indonesian snakeneck (Macrochelodina rugosa). I founded International Snakeneck Owners Club about a year ago and am running its website www.snakenecks.com
  15. I like your photos! On doesn`t see b/w pictures in here too often. Now I`m even more excited to receive my GMT Pepsi which I bought off an RWI member earlier this week
  16. Awesome! I`m actually going to Maui in just a few days
  17. Thank you Edwin. I PM-ed him as well so I`ll let you know as soon as I hear from him.
  18. Thank you for another top notch review! Does anyone know how much this version goes for? I didn`t see any mention of price in Euro`s thread. Maybe I was blinded by all the pictures?
  19. I AM of course only saying this to pull your leg, but you are telling us that ignorance is bliss? lol For the record, I do agree with you and appreciate your insight immensely.
  20. That is a good looking dial. It would be interesting to see it pictured next to Josh`s version.
  21. Do a search for 6263. There`s quite a few threads discussing that watch. Personally, I think Perfect Clone`s new version is a decent rep at an affordable price out of the box.
  22. Awesome snow! Did you change the dial too? I know BK does a TT blue version now. I wonder what kind of dial he uses.
  23. It sounds like a lot of trouble when selling the 16610 and buying a 16613 s an option. On the other hand, going through the "trouble" might be an enjoyable experience since mixing, matching and general modding is part of our hobby, right?
  24. Thanks for posting a great picture of a truly wonderful collection Freddy! If you printed up a high res version of that photo I bet you could sell stacks of posters of it Thanks for the info on Daytonas too:-)
