I'm not really sure..... I guess it's the white with black sub dials one...... or perhaps the all white one....

I have switched the bezel ring between the 2 panda's. I think they are better looking like this. Just a matter of tast I guess

I also replaced the 2 blue chrono hands (from the black dial with white sub dials) for silver ones.

Just thought, lets take some pics of my little Portuguese family.

(to help Concepta to sell those lovely movements )

They all have gen straps and buckles, Chiefs newest AR and fully serviced movements.

The White one also has a gen movement, dial and hands.

Two have the old movements and one has the upgraded one. (actually quite funny, I have bought one from a trusted dealer as the new model. Unfortunately it came with the old movement!)

The movements are running great (for almost a year now) and I don't notice any difference between the old and the new models.

I don't believe in the graphite treatment so just a complete service did the trick for me.

If I'm not mistaken, most people here have a hard time to have theire reps serviced. They are shipped all over the world to get it done.

Where can you find a watchmaker who can and will service it and how will you shipp it?

Just be very careful with hands. My experience is that they scratch very easy. It's also a really thin Rhodium layer which is easy to remove.

When I clean hands and dials, I always take a new piece of Rodico. I noticed that it works way better than a used piece.

You can also polish them with Cap Cod and then have them Rhodium plated again.

I'll kill someone for a nice 250 dial.

Here's how the dial of the Black Themes secs @12 looks in a macro shot...

The problem is that the lume is raised instead of flat like the gen.... you only get this effect in certain lights...

I don't think anything can be done but I am curious if there is a solution.... the navy's surrounds are amazing in comparison to the themes....

I'll trade you mine C1 superlumed, full serviced, gen strap and deployment for this one

I think I have "fixed" like 10 of them this way. Afther a while (mine is still doing fine though) you have to squeeze it again but al least it works.

The crown tube is the problem with these models. I'm pretty sure the crown is still ok.

The best way to solve it is to replace it for a new one but unfortunately the dealers will not supply it.

What normally works is to squeeze the tube just a little.

I like all the new casablanca models. The only problem for me is the size.

It's HUGE!

Water doesn't do anything with the lume.

Just show us a pic of it so that we can give you a good advise.

I tried with the regular searching and came up dry as 25 rubies in a Chinese movement.

Here is a comparison with the gen. I know the pics are alway terrible at Josh site but the dial seems a bit too black though.

As Chief said, I would put an all black croc on it.

I have a black croc with white stitch for it but for some reason, I think that the all black one looks better.

Did you have any problems fitting the rep hand on the gen movement?
