The only solution is to make one, ETA does not make cannon pins with caps on them.
I have made some in the past, as you can imagine, it's a small part...
Well....this is not what I wanted to hear but thanks anyway!
Cheers,
Sander
PS: you have my shipping address right?

Done!Today morning...it take about 1 hour for disassembly cleaning and reassembly with new gear...He was really a lightning!!!...he used an orig 7750 and the gear fit perfectly!it's very strange for me...may be a new series or upgrade of a7750 to make more pieces compatible with eta7750?
A full service in 1 hour?
How much did he charge you?

Blimey you really made an effort, I would of never noticed the subdial hands, that really something you must have steady hands
So did you paint the outer subdial white . Cheifs AR is to behold
as I said great work
Thanks man!
The outer subdial is actually metallic silver. It took me about 5 times to find the right silver paint. The subdail hands are painted white and turned out as I hoped they would.
Just like the centre seconds hand, I wanted to have them polished but when I removed the paint the hands are just too small to polish them. So the white paint worked well. I also painted to centre seconds hand to match the subdial hands but for some reason I didn't liked it.

Hi Rolli,
Welcome back!

The FER004 didn't get much wrist time because I think it's kinda boring.
I have tried to sell it but that also didn't work so what else can you do with it?
What did I do to transform the standard FER004 into the PVD one:
PVD'd the case and buckle
Removed the paint and polished the centre seconds hand
Painted the chrono hands
Painted the sub dial rings
Relumed the hands
Lumed the dial and crown
Chiefs AR
I think it's much better looking now.

Materpiece Raymond! You'll probably keep it the rest of your live.

I guess it is a gen 183
Gen dial, strap and buckle.
Chiefs AR.

Its a very nice watch indeed.
The only question I have is why did you buy it?
I

Does it get any better....
No, nothing beats a gen one
-
Cheers Sander, this is good news
I found this happened with the UPO dial too, but the gen doesn't go like that under the same conditions. If the 3717 has similar characteristics as the genuine that's good enough for me!
Although the standard AR on the V3 is really good, I would always give it to Chief for a new coating.
I'll post some pics as soon as my crystal is back.

The V3 dial is actually very very dark grey, just like the gen.
The funny thing is that it appears to be a little brown under the standard AR.
I have the gen dial and also this one seems to be brown under the crystal.
This is not the case when you hold the dial in you hand so for some reason the blue crystal makes it brown
Just waiting for a AR

I'm a little confused....
If I'm not mistaken, the 40mm doesn't exist in the old model.
you have the 5066 which is 36mm and the 5065 which is 38mm
the newer model is 5165 for the 38mm and 5167 for the 40mm.
can someone please correct me or confirm this?
I'm really getting to like this one but I want a gen strap for it. if the 38mm doesn't exist, it would be pretty tough to get one

I'm sorry to hear your story. Hope you'll get them back savely and in good working condition.
As B16a2 mentioned, recording to Ziggmeister it is a pretty good movement if it's serviced. Mine is still running though (for about half a year now) without a problem.
Good luck man!

Great looking watch man
The AR en DW fix would be a huge improvement though. Maybe also ad a gen crown
-
Fu..ed up a new gen panerai croc strap. I don
-
The gen movement doesn't take the rep hands.
you have to change gears or get gen hands of course.
-
oh man, that's another $650,-.... how do I explane this at home?
-
Yes I have a 6.5" wrist
The only difference is the crown and chrono pushers are larger, the actual case construction seems the same. Obviously the watch is much lighter, due to the Ti and ceramic materials used
I find it more balanced on the wrist than the steel ROO
Too bad, until now I had the excuse that it was too big for me. Now I'm getting really nervous.
Can you make a side by side pic?
-
-
He Mickey,
Pics are great man. Really love it.
If I remember well, you also have a 6.5

Thanks guys couldn't have done it without your help, hope it inspires you to do the same...
Cheers
P
I'm not really a breitling guy......but you project really inspired me to build one myself!
