I bought one of those diamond testers off ebay and they work great for telling sapphire from mineral. It turns out a few of the watches I was told were sapphire were not but davidsenjpn's replacement sapphire crystal for the fiddy is sapphire as he claims.

I have, he was fine to deal with and has been very good with after sales communication.

I never wear a watch while working out in the gym however when I hike, snowboard, moutainbike, etc... I wear whatever watch I have on at the time.

Nice straps V! I just ordered a new one myself, the MF Vacchetta Sport Black/Ti, looks awesome and the nice thing about them you can get it any size not just 115/75-120/80 for us that like/need longer straps...
