  1. I know whom it belongs to but I am not sure if I should tell the real nickname. I would just say that he has been around very long in the rep scene and has a legendary name too. PS: It's a rep
  2. IMHO the sunken date is not really a big issue on modified Asian 7750 (yes, it's still an issue). It's more of the subdial spacing and the movement itself in particular for this piece. Even then, the rep is so well made that it makes me think that it's a worthy rep watch to buy/to own. You have to handle this piece and try it on, it feels solid and screams quality.
  3. He he he he. Missed these food too Sure, I will let you guys know about it.
  4. hehe... Thanks a lot and glad you like it This week's review will be on Baume & Mercier Riviera Magnum.
  5. This is my first, one and only MBW based vintage Rollie rep. This watch is definitely very very special with many stories to tell. Still modding it... Work in progress.
  6. Agree with scoobs The hand sizes don't differ much or maybe exactly the same (i.e.: unnoticable IMHO). The GMT hand on this piece also has spot on length (this one I notice properly). You can buy one in practically all on-board dealer. Some described it as having black dial and looks black on their picture. Let me assure you, they are not. It's definitely dark cobalt blue. At some angle, yes it can appear like black... Hmmm I should say it's like PAM036 old case model. The dial sometimes looks like black instead of dark tabac brown. I will get V's CG on this one and it will be very very very close to the gen. And the datewheel, I agree it can be improved further, a bit bolder but not too much. I have seen many replacement DW which is an overkill (too bold).
  7. Good to see saso has included many pictures. I will be in FFM area definitely before I left Germany and also perhaps going north to D
  8. Saw this on Baselworld. Didn't really like the glossy dial on this piece. I own the "older" sword hand SMP with blue dial, Ti case, without coaxial movement. If it's my next genuine Omega purchase, it'll be either a Planet Ocean or Deville hour vision.
  9. wokeh no video It's the sink/wash basin.
  10. No bathtub but something else We are waiting for Laz to upload the video.
  11. It is just pure scam. It has been brought up a few times. To date, there aren't good Sinn reps available.
  12. Well again... It's much safer to ship things using registered airmail. I have 0 customs problems both in Europe or Asia for this method of shipping. Print or write the address (sender and recipient) clearly, it will save you lots of trouble.
  13. @laz: I am waiting for the YouTube @Tribal: Thanks, lots can be improved in this reluming result. It's far away from perfect tho. But the hands glow even brighter now The idea is to get rid of davidsen
  14. am pretty sure it's Rolex.
  15. waiting for gen insert
  16. That one is we break the safe of Rolex Germany right at 3 o'clock in the morning Just joking!
  17. Thanks for Tribal and kelster for the inspiring news about this one too:
  18. Posted this on another thread but I think here will be more appropriate: I would like to really thank you very much on a lot of things. I won't name you in the post but you should know who you are You all have my respect too. There are much things which I can't describe by words and pictures but it's really meaningful to me (i.e.: friendship). Thanks for all these plus things which I mentioned above: Big cheers to you I think the dustblower is not that one... Took the picture last night and a bit @@@ Sorry.
  19. Will be very busy during that time too damn exams. Well, we will see. If you are in the area, just let me know. I can go to Frankfurt Main or here in Stuttgart, we have good biergarten. The weather is gonna get really good later this summer. Feel free to come. There are a few more members from this area (Mannheim, Heidelberg, Stuttgart, etc.). They may come and join us too.
  20. calling saso... Where are you? Need the Youtube, over. Pretty much down here, credit to Steph for the picture:
  21. I agree with Yello. Please look closely at the magnifying glass on this PAM092 and compare it with 252. They are of different quality IMHO. Sorry... can't confirm. Maybe the angle of the pictures. Bezel click is exactly 60 like on the gen. The drawbacks are very few (i.e.: lume out of box, slightly recessed subdial and the flappy CG with a bit of gap vertically). A nice replacement CG (i.e.: gen/aftermarket) will boost this watch closer to gen but seriously... the rep is excellent down to AR coating. PS: Awesome CG! Me likey, a lot.
  22. @PAMman: I agree that the rep is only in SS for this model and there exists gen version in SS but nonetheless, the rep is totally wrong. Some more reference pictures here. Many members have discussed this watch extensively: http://www.time2watch.net/IWCintro.htm
  23. Well... The problem is not only that. Rehaut is totally wrong, crystal thickness is wrong, dial is not accurate (crooked marker at 12), bad lume, wrong datefont, bad pearl, bad painting on the bezel, wrong bezel construction, etc. Too many things which spoil the enjoyment of wearing this watch and to me, it's an insult to the gen watch (which is a SUPERB and solidly built watch).
