  13. As I promised, I go tthe genuine Heritag efrom the watchmaker, after I promised him that I would not scratch or dent his watch. I took some pics with the gen side by side with the rep. To me, the biggest difference is the datefont, especially 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Other differences are small, not that visible. And to my suprise, the color is almost spot on, most of us, including, before seeing the gen, thought the brwon was way off. But now the fact is here. I will pass on my findings and opinions I got from here to the watchmaker, and hope he will make some improvements on his later batches.
  14. I could confirm on one thing, this rep is made from a genuine Heritage the watchmaker bought. I have not seen it yet, but the watchmaker will give it to me in a few days, and I will take some pics post in this forum, so we could have better comparison side by side. And if possible, we will arrange a review by member from this forum as well. We want our customers to be well informed. And I will reflect the opinions here to the watchmaker as well, to see if he could improve on his own 1st gen. The rubber strap will be available soon, I heard, also repped from a gen strap. For all these effort, I give credit to this watchmaker, we need more watchmakers trying on all the models, so we could have great reps at affordable price, instead of being controled by a handful of greedy dealers. When the new version of Heritage comes out, we will try our best to offer it at good price as well, we do not just offer this Heritage.

But we do have workers checking watches in the shop, although it is not me. We will address this QC problem seriously. But as I said, we will not have u sufferring from the problem. We will get the problem fixed, either through replacement or refund. Happy New Year!

  20. I was quite thankful in the begining that u brought this complaint to our attention, and I loged on right away and replied to the post. Honestly, I could not bowse through these forums that often, coz I am quite short on time, and do have a few close customers writing us if they see any issues on board that we need to address. And we really appreciate that. So I think it is being responsible that I logged on that forum right away when u told me about the complaint, and left message for the person. But the truth is not that we left the customer in cold for two months. If u want, we could dig into the case. I am quite proud of our good aftersale service, I believe u may have read many posts here or there on it. It is sad that u actually found this being suspicious, but I read it as any responsible dealer should do, whenever u find complaint from customer, act fast and solve the problem. And in ur case, we were slow in the bigining. If I remember correctly, u reported the problem on Friday ur time, unfortunately, we did not picked up ur email until late Saturday my time, I went hiking on Sat. But I replied right away when I read it, and we communicated back and forth with some pics, and we promised to send u a replacement strap today. Is that what has happened? And today, a good customer of mine brought this post to my attention, and I loged on immediately to address this complaint. Hope u do not think this is suspicious 2. I appreciate u bought watches from us, and we will do the best to make u happy with ur puchase. That's what we do.

  22. Sorry for the delay. I have been traveling a bit in the past month. Tried the best to catch up with my emails on the road.   23. No, it is not the format we need to standradize here, it is the worrds we use, clear not misleading, certainly not deceitful. If we talk too much on the format, we are deviating from the goal. But I have to say, I like ur format. :-)
