  1. I have a Black Macbook for over a year now and love it. Running Os X and WinVista (depending of what I want) When I got it, the Macbook was the best value for a 13.3" laptop. Now Dell have a cheap one, but still with all the comparative item, you won't pay that much more for Apple product.
  2. No replies here either.. My Skyland Bracelet broke within days and I have a pending watch I sent back because he sent me the wrong one.
  3. Can someone resume me what is so "hot" about this phone? Good looking, but I don't see why I would trade my Nokia N82 for this.
  4. Yea well.. The rivet on the claps (where is the endlink which can't be adjusted) broke today. The Rivet head simply pop out when I was closing the claps. Is there a way to solve this? Right now, I can't use the bracelet anymore.
  5. Personally I gave it about 5 to 10 turn to get it started, then I make circle with my hand counter clockwise for more reserve. Put it on my wrist and forget it.

    Macbook Air

I have the regular Macbook and I have about 4-4.5h on the battery... oh, and yes id DOES fit in an envelope too
  7. haha.. No got it for $268. Sick deal imo. The Nikon 18-200VR and the 70-300VR that I also got is another story
  8. Yea I know. Made a lot of research before buying. I spend about $1200 on lens last week Good thing I got it for cheap on ebay haha.. Gotta love that
  9. Unless I'm mistaken, There is no Panerai with 6498 I have never seen a review or breakdown of the A6498 yet. I know the A6497 is usually good (there is some very bad copy around too) but nothing about the A6498.. Guess I will have to buy one and strip the movement
  10. Do whatever you want mate. I did it for fun
  11. Well I had to try my new lens/cam, so I gave it a shot. Not the best I can do, but will get better with time. (it is actually quite hard to get a good shot since the DOF is soooooo small..) The fun is with the Big Version (10Mpixel file.. massive) but here is a smaller shot for preview. Enjoy the misaligned lume dots and all the small flaws you don't see on your wrist Photo Info: Nikon D60 with Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di 1:1 Macro Exposure: 30 seconds at f/45 (and still not enough hahaha) Manual Focus, minimal Photoshop to crop and give a b/w effect.
  12. Beside few model (like Omega SMP with pins.. ah god it's hard) I do it myself. Tools are quite inexpensive to do the job.
  13. No sorry.. Gray dial with Bracelet/Brown Strap. Having a TT Black BCE, TT Black Navi... I just couldn't get another black Breit.
  14. ETA/Unitas 6498 for $160.. I don't think so ! Must be Chinese Copy.
  15. I can hear mine ticking........ The movement is good.
  16. Yea well.. I have 3 kinds of screw on mine. The 2 pictured here and I have 2 screws that are completely flat and come flush to the link.. I had to remove one link, so I got rid of those, but it's a total of 5 screws that aren't the same on mine.. Damn strange. Anyway, small details and my Skyland have nearly all the lume dot centered. Only the one at 3, the smallest, is a bit off. So I'm happy Btw, anyone have the leather strap too? If so, what is that smell ? It's the worst I have seen in years for a strap.
  17. Received mine today.. Wow.. I'm in love. Didn't expect to like the bracelet, but I really like it Btw, anyone noticed that there is 2 kind of screw used on the bracelet ? Some have flat head and other rounded... Look a bit strange See here (second one is flat)
  18. Sorry, but this doesn't look right at all. The "Ring" is gone !
  19. Yes I used a cloth with a kitchen knight to pry the Bezel. Bezel is very solid and it will pop off. Once removed, remove the insert (it should be easy now) After that, you will have lot of fun to place back the "click spring" in place and the bezel. Once ine place, put some glue and place back the insert. This is how I did it. Careful with the glue, you really don't want it near your crystal !
  20. Don't try to lift the bezel insert.. the Insert is very "soft" and you will do a stupid thing (I did once ) Other solution is to remove the bezel completely.. there's a tutorial here about that.
  21. yea pics on the first post are ok, but the newer.. something is missing...
  22. is it me or the pearl is strange on yours ?
  23. Yea there is bit of saturation removed on the watch.. but the "gray" look is mostly because of the lightning. Still, a darker redish strap would look very nice !
  24. I like the color of the HKTan, but the "look" is too much "pilot" and IWC to fit the Skyland imo.. Still look great ! Now question is.. where we can find a great strap that looks like the real thing (color and grain wise)
