People will assume your gen is a fake before they presume your fake is a gen...if they care at all.

Fascinating. They put a 42 PO on him in the film. Then they make two special editions. One PO in 45.5m and an SMP, neither of which has anything to do with the film. These people are retarded.

Rolex only uses 904 in it's cases. The gen bracelets feel cheap and flimsy. The reps even worse but you can make them feel the same with a little tweaking.

I get a lot of questions too and experienced the same thing as you. Many times they are asking the same questions to multiple people. And even after they get the same answers from everyone they still post a topic about it on the forum. Sometimes they are spamming a scam website and want to have a PM record from one of the forum experts stating they think that website is ok. Other times they have already made up their mind about a particular watch or dealer and just want validation. If you don't give it then they move on to the next member. And then there are the drive bys. They get their advice, buy their watch and never come back to the forum.

Since you shouldn't take reps near water, the glue shouldn't be an issue. The main weakness s the skinny winder stem.

Even dealers that check watches over are only going to do a cursory inspection ie: is it running, are there any major flaws. They are not going to service or seal them. They may come with dirty movements. Dials may be scuffed and indices dirty. This kind of attention to detail is just not in their culture. Only a watch builder or modder will do that for you. And you may be seeing that B on your wrist but it is on your wrist. You need to remember what it looks like to others. This is from my noob thread on RWI

There is a forum that is 'totally' geared towards in house dealer sales but this is not it. I'm sure this will bring on a flaming but I would agree with that statement regarding any dealer. That is what happened. To quote chronoluvw 'Tru Dat'. As I have said many times 'The Watch Experts here are known to be trustworthy. So with all the scammers out there why take a chance? Just my .02'. +100 It was determined through the feedback of other members and my personally having bought from almost all of them. There are scammers who sell clothing too not just watches. Also you have to remember that this posting was not made by me and this version of the list is over a year old. It has grown AND changed dramatically in just the last six months. Dealers have been added, some have changed their ways and been removed. And even more links between sites have been made. I offered to put the list here but there was no interest.
