  1. A friend who works in a mall chain jewelry store offered me Omegas or Tags for her price; 50% of MSRP.
  2. Does anyone know if it is plain stainless or a titanium finish on the Ice Bang rep? The numbers and bezel look a little darker but it could just bee the lighting.
  3. Biver is quite active on that forum; link .
  4. Funny you mention it; I was drooling over the strap on your PAM177 earlier. You won't catch me wearing an Aspen Bang though.
  5. Hublonium; my only weakness! Maybe they should focus on designing another watch.
  6. Victoria, I love my 880! Mine controls EVERYTHING, I even found an X-10 IR receiver so it turns down the lights for me.
  7. Scary... but I have nothing but faith in Chinese resourcefulness. No watch company (or media company for that matter) can hope to stop copying; they can only claim small token victories.
  8. I'm also eager to see your pics. If you look at the Hublot site it looks like they pretty much sell any configuration you can imagine anyway; so we don't have to be too picky I guess. When will the Bigger Bang All Black rep be ready?
  9. So what's the verdict on this from Trustywatchguy ? It looks really close to the version posted in this thread (by italiano1771), I guess this is the "older" bezel? This is the gen with the tungsten bezel: TimeZone Darn it; I was all set to order a Black Magic too.
  10. Ratchpot; my jaw is on the floor!
  11. Cool! If you don't already have an adjustable hot water dispenser you'll want one now. I tweaked the water cooler at work to the perfect temperature for Aeropress coffee; makes grabbing that second cup a lot faster. I don't know about reusing the filters; they are just paper (Mr. Coffee style).
  12. How about a wrist shot? That thing looks pretty thick! This watch is an amazing reminder of how far reps have come; I wish more watches were this faithful to the gen. I agree that it's no HBB but some of us are Porsche fans--my "other" rep is a slate grey '59 Speedster.
  13. Try an Aeropress out; makes a really smooth cup and it's under $30.
  14. This looks great, would be a nice replacement for my "slightly off" P'6910.
  15. Just wanted to say hi and thanks for maintaining such a useful site. I have wanted a quality rep (or five or ten) for years but only recently decided to do my homework and start collecting.
