Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I applaud you trying for sure and I have no doubt if you keep practicing you will develope some nice skills but good lord why not practice on some scrap dials. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the poor 063. In any event thanks for sharing

Waiting for lani's review!!!! Though I have owned the gen SS Ceramic GMT, and now the gen TT Ceramic GMT. This thing intrigues me !!!!!!
-
Just got mine yesterday, Pics forthcoming!!, Holy Sh*t is this an awesome watch. Believe the hype kids!!! I own 5 gens and I can tell you with no hesitation that this watch has nearly everybit the gen Rolex feel as my gens. Lani already wen't over it with a fine tooth comb much better than could I so I won't be redundant. BUT!!! The lume is the best on an out of the box rep I have ever seen (mine turned blue right away after sitting under a halogen lamp for 20 min. Of course it does not glow as long as a gen but for the initial glow it's just as bright and strong as a gen. The bracelet is a wonder. The crystal AR is dead on to my friend's gen and as Lani pointed out the dial printing is F-ing flawless. The bezel on mine is also smooth and firm. Not quite as firm as my gens or my friend's gen DeepSea but I have to send it to Rex for something after all!! Honestly though this watch needs no mods. Sure if you are a real nitpicker you might want Rex or Zig to kick the lume up a notch or tighten the bezel. (or swap in a calibre 3135 if you can find one at a reasonable price!!) Kidding aside this watch is a must have!!! No doubt it is the rep of the year. Mine sits proundly with my Gens. For a fleeting moment before I bought this i almost bought a Deep Sea from my AD. I was on the list. I am glad i passed

Hooray for me . New tracking number. Can't wait for this watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Josh is great for sure
-
Lol I know it. Regardless I'm sure he will make it right. He nor Andrew have let me down yet. But Paranoia still likes to wedge it's way into my brain in these situations!!!!!

After waiting a week for my new Josh V3 Swiss Deepsea my tracking number stated that it was delivered to the wrong address , not only that it was sent to the wrong State !!!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I sent Josh an email to see if he could check on my tracking number to verfiy that it was the right tracking number, or another customer's. I'm sure Josh will make it right but damn I hate this part of the purchase. 9 times out of 10, smooth with no hicupps. Now I am being fed a big poop samich on the eve of the new year!!! Anyone else ever get the wrong tracking number for a purchase only to have your watch still show up??

Looks perfect (As usual from a trip up North) yes lume shot please

beautiful work just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
-
Nope you got a V3 the bezel fonts on the V2 are fatter but way off in terms of sharpness ect
-
Rexie did mine as well though mine already came modded with gen crown and tube from the previous owner. I am equally proud and amazed at the job he did and the professionalism throughout!!! Beautiful watch about as gen as it gets with respect to the modibility (if thats even a word) in that many of the key genuine parts are so readily availible from Otto Frei. How many of us would kill to have the same Panerai parts so easily attainable?? Sigh.................... Enjoy your beautiful watch and take some more pics.

I know Lani but it's still killin me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great review by the way you definately tiped me on this one!!
-
Z How long did yours take to get here. I ordered mine from Josh last Sat and it's not here yet. Usually Josh has been 5 -6 days from order to doorstep This is F-ing killing me!!!! My self purchased Xmas present is late!!!!!
-
mines on the way ordered from Josh Sun night

Aussie-um gen. Beautiful. Nothing like opening the box for the first time to reveal something special
-
great great review. I loved my friend's gen. But not enough to part with my gen LV to fund one. This is going to be in my collection
-
Wow those look great!!! Finally someone showing pictures of T-crowns where the 60's are on an auto as it should be and the 48 on a manual wind as it should be!!! I see so many pics of watches with a 60 as an "Upgrade???" on a manual wind case. To me this always screams wrong wrong wrong!!! Yours look perfect !!!!!
-
I have also always obsessed with this!!!! Wondering if it's possible for even a slight improvement. I had thought about sending my swiss, ultimate 127 off to Rex to be a guinee pig as his shop has finishing and plating services. Can't wait to see FGD's progress

Oh Christ!!! I need this and I thought I was done for a while with my new Ultimate 088 that I also spent $150.00 on to correct the crappy inaccurate lume on this new suppossed 1:1 rep!! SO watch $450ish with shipping + service $100ish + lume $150ish = $700ish for a perfect rep that will run strong and will be truely 1:1 Sounds like alot of money but you know what I am going to do it after the holidays. I needs it man I needs it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 -
As much as it pains me to Zig you are off on Rex. For those unable to aquire your tremendous talents Rex is a terrific professional watchmaker with respect to movements. He has repaired alot of movements for alot of RGers (and alot of RWGers as well) with nothing but praise for his work. Not comparing his talents to yours for sure but for any movement issue and simple mods Rex is brilliant and a true professional. I would love to see you two team up!!
-
Don't wanna speak for Rex he will send you a worksheet with price quotes. In my experience it was about $125.00 but he completely ripped apart the whole movement, sonically cleaned each part, rebuilt, oiled and regulated it. Lot of work for not too much money from about the best there is with movements
-
Best bet is to replace them with gen parts from otto frei. Once done you will never have to replace them again. You will need a gen crown, Prob a new stem, and a new gen crowntube as the gen crown won't mate with a rep tube. You will need a qualified modder to tap out the old tube and insert the new parts. These gen parts are pretty cheap and the mod is also a quicky for someone who knows their stuff like The Zigmeister or Rex Good luck
-
Rex is the man for servicing movements unless you are fortunate enough to have a relationship with The Zigmeister of course. Besides The Zigmeister, Rex is the best at servicing movements
-
The Zigmeister is prob out for you bud. Go over to Repgeek and contact Rex. Many of us frequent both sites. Rex is as good as there is with respect to servicing and repairing movements. He is pretty fast and his prices are fair. He is an actual watchmaster at his family jewlery store in PA. After that come back here and discuss.

Most of our dealers will sell replacement bezel inserts. I ordered two from Puretime for $30.00. Go to our dealer forums and follow the contact instructions. Angus at Puretime treated me very well
