THis is Davidson's beautiful new 111H (for my purposes it will be a 177H dial) dial. Just arrived yesterday and already sent off to go into my custom hand built 177H (along with a genuine Ti crown from our favorite Turk !!) So here it is, David's new 111H dial (Photo's courtesy of David) and Rex will be putting it in her for me please discuss

Dial looks awesome!!!

Similar problem with my swiss eta UPO. No power reserve. Sent it off to Rex at RG and he found dirt in the movement!!! Gotta love the repfactory QC!!! Not sure if you have the same problem but it definately needs to be serviced. If you are in with Master The Zigmeister I'd sent it off to him for sure if not Rex at RG is a true master with movement servicing. Prob better to have it serviced and regulated because it would likely be cheaper than a movement swap and even a new out of the box eta movement would prob need regulating by someone with the know how for optimum reliability

WOW!!!! Gotta love a beautiful handcrafted vintage!!!!

JESUS ROB SWEET JESUS!!!!!!! I too have had Kent work on a couple of pieces for me and he is very professional, very amicable and yes pretty slow (maybe methodical is a more apt and fair description) He did a Revue Thommen B-Uhr Pilot watch for me which was just awesome. He also did an Arktos Rep (Which now belongs to another member) Which I desperately wanted The Zigmeister to do but at the time was very backed up. Turned out perfect and he went to the trouble of matching the correct colors to the gen. Kent likes to stick to lume and lume only and shys away from other modding other than tuning movements ect. Gotta say though Rob that stuff is a walk in the park compared to what you do. Rob you are an artist for sure!!!!

I also heard gen straps rubber or steel will not fit Silix's version as the lug holes are slightly different?? No such problems with the UPO
-
Hope you get it worked out!!!!

How what a beautiful strap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it the swiss eta version???? Rotor should not be loud. If winding it does not give it a nice power reserve you prob recieved a lemon and I would say send it back to King for a replacement. If you are intent on keeping it then it definately needs servicing. Even many of the swiss eta versions don't have the greatest quality control when assembled at the rep factories and a plethora of problems could occur. I know it would likely be a snap for The Zigmeister but if you can't aquire his amazing services then Rex over at Repgeek is about as good as it gets with respect to servicing, rebuilding ect. ect movements. He sonically cleaned my eta and completely serviced each part and found a micro spec of dirt on the balance. Rex is terrific to deal with and his prices are very very fair.

How about both??? My Newer (about 2 months old) Gen SMP Chrono And my Genified UPO with Gen Dial, Crystal, Crown, HE Valve, Hands, and modded pearl (relumed resset to correct height and a thin layer of clear epoxy over the lume to mimic the sapphire pane on the gen. Parts, watch and labor about $850ish for essentially a gen. I know I owned two gen PO's a pumpkin and a black.

Sell gen Speedy Pro to fund a couple of reps?
tanya replied to whitestripes's topic in The Omega Area
Keep it and post a pic for us. Or trade up for another Gen!!!! -
When do you think will this watch be replicated?
tanya replied to aliates88's topic in The Omega Area
Think there may be a couple of sh*tty asian movement versions of it floating around I tried on the gen about 3 weeks ago when I purchased my Gen SMP Chrono. It's very nice but I still prefer the blue for the SMP. Black dial Omega Seamaster to me needs to be a PO -
Now I have a headache

Not to burst your bubble but you won't be getting your pearl with the inserts. I just recived my replacement inserts from Angus last week and I was supposed to get two pearl parts as well. He told me that he could not source the pearl parts as they are attached to the bezel (Which I knew but had assumed he would be able to source the pearl parts anyway as he is usually able to get even the most minute parts) No go!!! He will offer you a credit or refund as he did for me. I responded by requesting the price minus my credit for an entire bezel assembly. I will keep you posted.

My UPO Bezel Insert fell off and I cannot find it! What can I do?
tanya replied to beowolf's topic in The Omega Area
PM Angus at puretime he sells spares for about $15.00 each -
Buy a new one brother and sell the parts here to make some money back

Here's mine!!! About two weeks old now and a very welcome addition to the family!!!! If you have the means I would get this gen. As good as the rep is, it can not touch the gen without some serious mods. Besides the updated dial with wire encased indicies and a nifty applied Omega symbol. It has alsoi recived a new PO style caseback. Bracelet is my favorite that I own

I shall definately be buying the gen once the craze dies down a bit. Bought the LV 2 years after it came out and I could get one from my AD, Got my AD's first steel Ceramic GMT (which I have since traded to my fellow watch nut best friend for his TT Ceramic GMT as I love gold and he does not) Thus far I have been able to get every Rolex I have wanted directly from my AD save one a white friggen Daytona!!! It's quite an awesome piece!!

Looks like a rep. I owned 2 gen RXW's both directly from Ken Trading. First off every gen RXW I have ever seen has had silver hands unless modded otherwise. Second, RXW MM20's come with about the finest ever produced 26mm strap made exclusively by Connolly leathers of London for Ken Trading. The leather is exquisite!!! Almost ike the finest Ammo Strap leather but much softer and fully stamped on the back with the Connolly Leathers markings. The strap on that watch looks like a typical sh*tty pleather Pam rep strap Third- Genuine RXW's come with a beautiful Panerai like box hand crafted by Ford Fame Jewelry box manufactures, one of the highest end Jewelers box makers in the world Forth- Gen RXW's come with genuine Bergeron screwdrivers, papers and (for the most part) a fine jewelers display polishing cloth Fifth - This is definately a rep , possibly a Davidson and I'll wager there is a 100% genuine russian or Chinese Unitas clone under the caseback not a genuine Swiss Unitas that comes in a Genuine RXW Sixth - anyone who pays more than $250.00 for this watch should have their head examined. A genuine RXW is highly collectible, extremely well crafted (So much so that even many Panerisitis have acknowleged that it rivals a genuine Panerai in terms of fit, construction and presentation) Genuine RXW MM20's sell for between $1100 - $2000.00 in excellent complete condition Seventh - If you can get your hands on a genuine RXW MM20 and have the means - grab it!!!! It's one hell of a watch and likely to only go up in value

Great review - Love to see a blown up pic of my gen next to the rep!!! Feel free to raid my pic from my Gen post
