Looks like an interesting post - it's a great forum for reference pictures. Could you possibly host the images? Even though I've got a forum account, I'm not allowed to view full size images for some reason!

Got it - thanks! I went through a google proxy (web translation) and it let me view them - your photos are either now fixed, or their just left in my viewing cache!

I can't see neither the pics nor access the site.

Could someone post the pics on this thread please.

I am a strapmaker and would love to get a good look at some original style straps.

Your help would really be appreciated.

Nice straps.. Being an expert on Vintage straps I had the opportunity to verify originality for a friend of mine and big paneristi collector for one like those..

Amazing straps and I am now even closer to find the exact same hide. Watch for my post after my summer hunt :)

Ah... put me on the want list for one of those! I've noticed that the thread appears to have been dyed at the same time the leather was, hence the exact same color of thread and leather for the several I've been fortunate enough to see in person.

Last one sold for 4000$ and it was not even close to NOS conditions... Rare beasts those straps..

And I agree about the thread.. Seems dyed. HEre is another example of exact matching thread on a mustardy example
