What sense would it make to mention it, if I were going to attempt it ? For the Record,...I never have and won't .....!

I don't know if you were referring to me but we could have the same suspect about you. qui s'excuse s'accus RT is cool. He helped us to get the last batch of PAM29/63 at group buy price. well, let's say he is benefited from the group buy thing, you really don't have anything to lose. The price is still cheaper and you can always opt out if you don't like the group-buy price.
dvn Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 RT, count me in for one if the price is right.

Anyone here knows if a blue hands and numbers version is expected? I've asked King what special price she can have for our group buy (i don't even know if she just has this model but it worths a try). I estimated 10# pieces. Ok, no problem, never mind. I just asked her the price for a group buy, for curiosity. Moreover it's an hassle so i'm happy if you or someone else, more proficient in english, take care of it. Edited August 21, 2006 by ryaku

Richard Tracy Posted August 21, 2006 Author Report Posted August 21, 2006 Thanks Cwai02.. and Just to clear the air... I paid full price, not even the discount... We now have 17....
Richard Tracy Posted August 21, 2006 Author Report Posted August 21, 2006 Okay ... we have our first offer, which quite frankly I don't think will be beat ... Our EL offers the fantastic price of $269.. That's the Shipped Price... so deduct $25 or so for shipping you have a price that hovering around $244 for the piece... We need only a 25 piece order to lock in this price......
Finepics Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 C'mon guys. This watch is so nice that the TZ people think its crap - which means it's very good indeed. Good enough to make a few gen owners [censored] their pants!!
krustybrand Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I think I'd be interested in the panda. Does anyone know what size it is?
poodang Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I am also interested in this group buy for a panda. However, I would like to get some pictures and specs (as well as the final negotiated price) before I'd be willing to jump on it. Please post the details of the chosen watch when it is decided.
Richard Tracy Posted August 22, 2006 Author Report Posted August 22, 2006 Please post the details of the chosen watch when it is decided. You can select either.... No restrictions on your choice.... As for dimensions,.. EL says they are 40x12mm,.... however I am doublechecking those numbers as Honpo lists it at 41mm. Edit:... EL says 40.3-40.4MM is the closest measurement.. but they could be 41mm....

drop Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I'd be in for a white sub and blue hand version if it were available.
Pugwash Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Okay ... we have our first offer, which quite frankly I don't think will be beat ... Really? I reckon if we give it a week, this'll be beaten.
woody Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 (edited) I think if and when Paul gets his hands on these, they will be going for at $189-$199. But the question remains, who would want to deal with Paul based on some mixed reviews, and the fact that Paul does not take Paypal? PS. Pug, I would like some friends too, now that I had a look at the new feature, look at you pimping there with 21 friends, where can I get some friends, I wonder..... Edited August 22, 2006 by Woody

Not taking paypal isn't an issue, moneybookers works well and it's time to use it, however Paul's not much appreciated here (i'm not talking about myself, i had a saccessful experience) so we'd better wait for other dealers offers. Silix could be a convenient and trustworthy dealer. But if we're not disposed to wait we have to deal with the few dealers that have currently in stock tha new Iwc and it makes negotiating harder and buy group less convenient. Imho of course.
Richard Tracy Posted August 22, 2006 Author Report Posted August 22, 2006 Okay, we are up to 22 .... I also have another offer, from a dealer who wishes to remain anonymous,.... His offer is $235, however, in keeping with his anonynimity request, he suggests that you paypal me, upon which time I will paypal him, which means you would have to include paypal fees. He also cannot ship to Canada & Germany. This option I don't know if I am willing to take..... it may risk my account, but definitely will put me on their watch list I think... Just posted it for discussion.

cwai02 Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I'd not take part if it were Paul. no, the dealer is not Paul.
