gioarmani Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 This obviously isn't the greatest pictorial, but here's a few snaps from back in '07 I took; don't think I ever posted the first few--some crappy, some not: Swiss SSD V2 & Swiss Sub (Noobmariner? which type, unsure), both from Andrew: NOTE: I did install recessed aftermarket inserts & pearls, and a light polish on the case & bands, but the lume is factory though. Enjoy. 2
redwatch Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 Very nice Gio! The SSD looks quite nice!
Greystash Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Thanks gioarmani...enjoyed going through thoses. With respect to the 1680's, I'll always consider this generation of Subs, SD's, YM's and GMT's as the proper and classic Rolex tool watches.
SBrat Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Wonderful pictures, Gioarmani. Thanks for sharing.
Rolexman Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Do you even WEAR your watches? Great shots, thanks for sharing! 1
P4GTR Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Nice shots! The pearl on the SSD especially.. Tell me about it. Is it a replacement pearl? Looks good. 1
FxrAndy Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Which Sd is that and is it the standard crystal?
gioarmani Posted August 28, 2009 Author Report Posted August 28, 2009 Do you even WEAR your watches? Great shots, thanks for sharing! Yes, but I'm a bit protective to keep them looking mint.

gioarmani Posted August 28, 2009 Author Report Posted August 28, 2009 Which Sd is that and is it the standard crystal? It was the SSD V2 from ANdrew--I think he still has the same one. Stock crystal, I just sanded the underside of the insert (tutorial in my sig) to show off a bit more of the crystal.
