freddy333
Odd to see a legal disclaimer on a rep site. I wonder what instigated this?
andreww
Not sure, but couldn't it at least be at the bottom of the page? Quite obtrusive where it is.
Packard
If Rolex calls and says, "Hey, what's with all this advice on how to make fake Rolexes and where to buy them?" The admin can say, "Hey, we ain't responsible for irresponsible posts herein." (And that's the truth!!!)
docblackrock
As the reg'd owner of the site, it looks like T has taken some legal advice and added it as a form of litigation-retardant underwear. Can't say I blame him to be honest.

wombat247
I'm not being nosy really, it's just that I don't see it on the three sites that I frequent and am wondering if I'm missing out on a good site.
Member X
Er, top of this page? lol (well, it is for me!) As above, disclaimers seem to be a standard get out clause for forum hosts to make sure they're not taken to court for what someone's said on the site, from what I can see - on car forums they have them on so if some tool crashes after racing on the road and posts up about it, the site owners can't be held responsible for inciting them through hosting other such material. wombat247
LOL! I guess that's a certain amount of proof that people (at least I) don't read disclaimers.
Member X
But it's there, and that's all that matters in a court of law lol
freddy333
Not sure how much protection a disclaimer will do when 1 of the words that make up the site name is 'replica', which infers contraband & illegal activity. While I wholeheartedly agree with the Admin's decision to include it, I kind of see such disclaimers as being akin to posting a 'Not responsible for lost or stolen articles' disclaimer on a How to Shoplift site. lanikai
I think it's a message .. not a legal document .. as such ... it is what it is .... perhaps it will convey a message of third party liability.. or maybe not.. it dosen't bother me one way or another.. FxrAndy
I thought that RWG stood for "Real watch Guys" i dont think replica has any thing to do with it now apart from they are some times discussed here.
