BigCrown
There is something I have always loved about the 5513/5517 Military Submariner. Especially when the luminous is that lovely orange patina. I picked up this 5513 with the most lovely dial, and then I started digging for those old Omega Tritium hands with orange luminous I have been saving. After a quick modification for the Omega hands to fit the Rolex movement, they were ready for installation. Then a nice 60 minute military bezel; and now my humble 5513 has the appearance of the famous and rare (approximately 1250 pieces ever delivered) double reference, full-spec, military submariner. redwatch
Nice job! Looks very good! Odd that the 5517 pic in the background doesn't have the military bezel though.
flex
Is that Type I Matte dial? what some would want to call it as Pre comex dial...... Nice watch, wear it in good health!

tmg
Yeehaw Big Crown! I love the deep patinaed lume -just fantastic. Congrats!!! Nice job! Looks very good! Odd that the 5517 pic in the background doesn't have the military bezel though. Red, The 5517 was delivered in batches with regular hands as well as the standard 15 minute tick bezel. The sword hands and 60 minute bezel are what make the watch special and stand out.
redwatch
I love the sword hands. That is what drew me to the Vintage Seamaster! @TMG - haven't seen your 5517 since its first review? That one is beautiful as well! Congrats to you both on some amazing builds!

BigCrown
Looks beautiful. Crown guards are pretty nice as well. Thanks By-Tor. The crown guards look good because it is a genuine 5513 with omega hands and an aftermarket insert.
