PHEW btw, check out my avatars for people near tampa, FL .... there is a really good indian restaurant in Brandon called Taste of India. One of the best meals I've ever had was at Rajdoot, in Cirencester, out in the Cotswolds. Holy Christ, now that was good. The closest I've found in the States was at Cilantro, in Tampa--or the now defunct Shamianna in Orlando. I usually go for a Chicken Korma, Chicken Makhni, or a nice Jalfrezi curry. The simple reason for this is the vast majority of these restaurants are family owned and run businesses where all the waiters and cooks qualifications are more dependent on bloodline than experience. I usually ask to speak to the chef and then speak to him in hindi/punjabi... it changes the way they cook for you till date the only BAD experience was one of those balti joints in liverpool..
