Drulee
Oh wow, Jackson has made an homage of the new Big E rep. I'd never wear one, unless it was attached to a big chain around my neck of course, but it would make a good wall clock or night table clock
Samurai
This is the Big Egi....DSN came out with a 52mm version a few months back and now the cartel version is here in 60mm (which is the correct size). Look for a thread on the Big E here..... You need a firearms license to buy one of these things.....as it can be used to clobber someone blue n black It also comes with a disclaimer that Panerai is not responsible for any muscle or tissue damage this may cause
hambone
Yet another variation. This one has 27mm lugs rather than the 24. Interesting how fast and how varied these behemoth watches are being made.
Drulee
The genuine was made, by Panerai, for the Egyptian navy's divers. From its size I'd say it was made to be wearable with the deep sea diving suits (the ones with the metal helmets). That's the only reason I could see for it being so large - definitely not something for everyday, bear arm, use
FxrAndy
But as a desk clock it would be good, any one know the price?

siesta181
If they come with a base to mount the watch to act as a table clock, i'd grab one. Me thinks they did it for the B&R watches.
<OFFICINEPANERAI>
Is this the same size as the one that Josh is currently selling? His says 60mm, but not sure if thats with or without the crown

<OFFICINEPANERAI>
Right, I am hoping that the PC version, is the more GEN size, which is the bigger of the dials. So can anyone confirm that Josh's is the larger of the Egizianos?

Corp.
Here's a wristshot of mine (from Jackson --> 60 mm): It's just to show that it is absolutely unwearable.... But it is as expected: heavy, good quality an funny! I will use it as a desk clock.
mbjoer
How about using it as a belt buckle??????? :D :D Shame about the size though. If it was half the size it would look really good.
<OFFICINEPANERAI>
Great Lani, I cant wait! Corp, any other pics by chance possibly beside a 44 and 47mm pam? As for your statement of unwearable...I beg to differ, I feel it looks decent on your wrist, and I will wear mine weekle with a nice worn strap! sssurfer
I just got mine a few days ago: Sorry, no wristshot -- just two hours after it arrived I had it disassembled already. A good starting point for a vintage Egiziano project. A gen for comparison: (BTW, the latter pic is exactly the one that got me hooked to the rep world and forums. At that time I knew absolutely nothing about PAMs, but I casually found it on a book and it made me google for Panerai...)
