I would be upset if my watch came not as advertised. From the pics, i thought andrew had teh best yachtmaster on the market, but now i am not so sure

I wonder why you would care about the movement? If you take the back of anybody who has seen a real Rolex movement would see the difference right away - no matter if you have the one on Trusty's or King's pictures

for the advertised movement shown in TWG foto is about $100 differance vs the golden ETA .

At first glance, without looking carefully, the first movement looks more realistic to me. :thumbs: Unfortunately they both are obviously fake upon closer inspection :thumbdown: , but pretty darn nice looking for a rep.

well in that case...what SUBMARINER2005 says

He has a different nickel movement to the one he was expecting. He doesn't have a brassy one.

I think beware of the decorated Nickel movement.

They have flaws!!

I bought a Sub with this movement,after a few weeks its broken...

Very interesting. Do you by chance know exactly what it was that broke?

Personally I like the one you got better--aesthetically speaking. They're both the same base movement, and the difference is largely aesthetic. The reason I like the one you have better is that the rotor looks more like the gen, than the one you were expecting.

<see attached pic>

Either way, the back is closed. I don't think it's much more likely to fail than any other ETA, and if it does you can fix it inexpensively (relatively speaking).

If the red paint on the wheel came off as a flake and got caught in the gears, it could stop. But how likely is that to happen? Easy fix if it does.

make sure you rub silicone grease on the gasket and that it seats properly when you screw the caseback on.

So who did you purchase it from? King or TWG?

Got it from TWG.. borrowed the camera for the external, never shot the inside. when I cracked the case it was the exact movement as the king pic (borrowed it for comparison). I would have used my camera phone but it shoots very fuzzy close-ups.

This is the inside of Andrews YM003, these pics are of mine, but hu12 and I got the exact same watch with in 3 days of each other:
