andreww
Same old issues, but nice watch nonetheless!
FxrAndy
One bonus i have noticed recently is that the rehaute is black, I was fitting a plexy to one the other week and it looked black anodized or something Crap end links on that though
lhooq
I like how a big chunk of the Earth is missing, just like on the gen.
Toadtorrent
Andreww...did you see the gen silver coin one at the Eaton's Centre? It's beautiful I think. I've been tempted to get this one.
andreww
The missing chunk of earth is actually the moon's shadow as depicted in the astronauts suit patch. And you are right Toad, this is a very beautiful piece when seen first hand.
lhooq
Thanks for the explanation, andreww, I didn't realize Omega was trying to match that shadow from the mission patch. But I still maintain that their engraver screwed up by indicating the shadow with a jagged line, and leaving what looks like Alaska floating in space! Gatchaman
The patch/image doesn't depict a shadow being cast on the Earth. That is simply the night side of the Earth. When the moon does cast a shadow on the Earth, its called a solar eclipse. And, even then, the shadow only covers a small portion of the Earth's surface. The missing chunk of earth is actually the moon's shadow as depicted in the astronauts suit patch. And you are right Toad, this is a very beautiful piece when seen first hand. highoeyazmuhudee
Nice but still VERY inaccurate, I often admire the gen piece in my local jewelers window while I pass by, the black rehaut is definitely an improvement...a small improvement BUT STILL.
