Did a bit of vintagening today. Wet sanding the case and adding a few dings before polishing with a dremel...

Looks much worse than it is because of the flash.

I masked the bezel and gave it some matte clear coat

I found some photos of an original, I can see differences on the dial, crown, back and bezel insert but the overall effect is good. I'm always glad to see a new vintage rep. A little ageing makes all the difference, plus, who's really going to know all the variations that were available 40 years ago. I think I'd try it on a mildly beaten up watchadoo bracelet, or on leather.
