silverspeed Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Last week the PAM243 from PWC arrived and after switching the rubber strap to a nice Frogman strap and giving the CG pin a little tlc this PAM looks more than allright to me.....
Toadtorrent Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Looks great. I was tempted by this one.
StormTooper4 Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Very nice indeed great combo and nice pictures, so how big are these 47 or 44?

silverspeed Posted November 22, 2009 Author Report Posted November 22, 2009 44mm but it wears nice and large, probably due to the height which is 15mm
FROGMAN Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Love the subs....the dial looks really good on this one....Look at that CG ....VERY COOL!
metalshopper Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Where can this watch be purchased? What is PWC
FROGMAN Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Looks good. But can the strap swim?? If I remember correct, that particular strap did not have the water resistent treatment applied to it.....not sure I offered it when silverspeed ordered. However, I do offer a "kodiak" style strap now....that can swim
TK471 Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 I think it looks great. The only things I'd do to it are to send it to Zig for his T color lume treatment and change the DW. Other than that, it's great. Of course, it looks really, really good as is. Good work on the crown guard pin.
Toadtorrent Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 That Frogman strap is awesome. I have a vintage TWB that I wear with my 239 a lot and love the combo. Here's my 239 lumed by The Zigmeister with the tritium lume. Click the link to get to my write-up.
TK471 Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 See, Toad, that's absolutely stunning.
Marky1012 Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Silverspeed - a stunning combo dammit. Now I've got to spend more money! Can you give any details on the strap as it sets the watch off brilliantly.
silverspeed Posted November 25, 2009 Author Report Posted November 25, 2009 What a difference polished bezelmarkers makes.... Before.. After....
hooky Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Wow! that is a big improvement with the polished markers. How did you do it? Free hand polish or did you tape of the bezel first?
