Agrippa Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 Surely China, with well over twice the steel output of the entire EU, must produce at least some 316L??
mikellem Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 Superb post.. Should be pinned... Thanks again my friend...Great job again. MM
Stukov Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 The fake 316 can be the answer for the poor quality crown tube threads that wear so early.
P4GTR Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 I enjoy destroying stuff In the name of our hobby! Not in the same way as, say, I unintentionally destroy things trying to fix them.. in the name of this hobby.
polaris Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Thank you very much for this informative post. great stuff.
pollux1 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 I considered adding a gen mvt to a rep case before reading this, i doubt i will do so now, thankyou for a fascinating read!
MadDogUK Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 How can you conclude the clasp as being 316 without stating the Molydenum content??? Im sure your aware this would be above 2% and would be the easiest way of coming to a 316 conclusion
G.Curcio Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Wow...I've been lied to! Great, now my rep watches are just like women!
