mactower
I only deal with Andrew and I haven't noticed an increase on existing stock. New models may command a higher price though, depending on what you're looking for...

gridlock1983
i was looking at some of his new ones coming out and they were 800+ dollars. was quite shocked when i saw the prices. i know the quality is high and its cheap in comparison to gens but i'm wondering how many guys out there would pay that price? Mickey Padge
I agree with you about prices in general, $350+ seems to be the starting price point now, even for stock Asian 7750 based watches, then add $40+ for delivery. Then you have the Asian secs@12 AP Survivor touching nearly $700 delivered (secs@9 is $450+), a watch that is regarded as needing a full service and graphite treatment when purchased, so add another $150+! The biggest rip off is that the Asian clone watches are no longer a "value" option either, as they cost about the same, or more in some cases as the true Swiss ETA versions do, all because of some fake parts on the movement that tend to fall off and break anyway Remember the days of $250+ for a stock Asian 7750 based watch? At least the V2 Skyland is still available at that price point, and it is a stellar rep too!

These are previously released models with movement upgraded to Swiss 7750 - e.g. Tag Carreras, IWC Spitfires etc. regards

It's got an Asian 7750 in it and it costs over 6 grand! http://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?productID=1841

mikellem
I would think at that price point, going with a rep is crazy in my eyes.. MM

I buy exclusively from Joshua.. but if I am going to use an Valjoux 7750 .. I'll buy one and send it to Ziggy for a swap.. it actually comes out the same as buying the rep with the eta 7750 movement.. but I usually have the dial lumed and the movement serviced at the same time..and if I am going to invest in an eta 7750 the watch needs to be in the Super Rep. category ... and with Ziggy's work I know it will perform for years to come.. AS only a select number of my reps have the Valjoux 7750 transplanted in them..but I think that they are worth the upgrade... although the A7750 is a very good movement after Ziggy services them.. the eta 7750 is great after the servicing.. even a couple of years ago the eta 7750's were going North of 700 usd..
