cc Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Met up with a few members recently and one of them had a 60mm Ezigiano. This thing is HUGE!!! Still cant figure out the purpose of it other than a desk clock..... An iphone wristshot on a 6.75in wrist -
chubbchubb Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Don't get me wrong...I'm a big PAM fan but I'd rather wear my glasses to be able to read my watch....
ubiquitous Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Holy bejeebus. That thing is just ridiculous!
clkcadet Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Who is going to wear that thing? I don't even think Stallone himself would pull it off! That wristshot is priceless!
beaker-king Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Who is going to wear that thing? I don't even think Stallone himself would pull it off! That wristshot is priceless! +1. That is a priceless picture !
greg_r Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Depends on the wrist. I sold mine as it was too bulky and unbalanced on the wrist to wear comfortably, but it didn't look that bad....
Dani Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Stallone use that look at pics http://www.network54.com/Forum/353391/thread/1239309734/Sly+will+be+wearing+a+PVD+Panerai+in+the+new+movie+";The+Expendables";+++special+delivery enjoy.
bmedude Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 that's one heck of a beast... i'd wear it though

Anopsis Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 (edited) I have an 8" wrist and this watch makes it look small. Here's a few of my pics for reference: Wrist shot Wrist shot Wrist shot Yes, that IS a hockey puck I have it wrapped around Comparison with a 111H Comparison with a 111H Pig buckle Pig buckle Forgot to add this one. Hope I didn't post too many pics. Still learning the ropes here. Edited January 23, 2010 by Anopsis
Agrippa Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 Rather than admiring looks, I fear that's the sort of thing which will attract loud sniggers behind one's back. Unless you're a professional strongman with 9"+ wrists perhaps. Quite frankly it looks silly even on Sly, although like spooky I'd probably choose not to walk up to him, tap him on the shoulder and say so to his face. And I'd snigger only very, very softly.

Still learning the ropes here. man it actually suits you.....and i'm not just saying that because you have a 8" wrist or that you are a serious shooter, gunsmith, and firearms instructor
omni Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 Probably wouldn't look so big if it were worn around a proper wetsuit sleeve and you had all your diving gear on........
deniz21 Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 the look and design of the watch is awsome, but way toooo big, this watch in 47mm and would have one yeah and that wristy is really cool
Anopsis Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 (edited) Just like greg_r said, it's unbalanced. I like large, heavy watches because I like the feel of something substantial on my wrist, but a properly sized, weighted, and balanced watch/strap combo feels like your wrist/hand is heavy; this felt like all the weight was sitting on the top, wanting to twist your wrist to accomodate gravity's demands. It just didn't feel... right. I LOVE looking at it and just handling it though. I wore it around the house and only outside a couple of times. I wear watches for me and no one else, but hey, there's a limit. FYI, that's it in my avatar. The blue light is the power LED on my desktop computer. Edited January 24, 2010 by Anopsis
Jkay Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 WOW I had no idea that Jason Stratham was sooo short!! Sly Stallone is a small man and Jason's smaller than HIM in those pics??
Aji Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Greg_r Where did you get your 60mm monster from? Was it a swiss or Asian movement
TK471 Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 WHOA, mama! This will be a hit with collectors, but most will never wear it.... except to GTGs.
