Guest TTK Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 That's the way to do it...... Some nice shots.....and watches....!
Pugwash Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 Excellent project, but that's way too much light. It took me a while to experiment, but I found myself using less and less watts until I'm now on either 2x20w or 2x40-60. Your individual needs will vary, of course, but try adding a third light at the top and covering the lens with something like sunglasses.
fotoman Posted September 4, 2006 Author Report Posted September 4, 2006 yup, thanks guys. I'm going to keep experimenting. I think i have almost perfected what i call the "trustywatchguy" shot as Andrew uses this heavy black look often I started using white. But these looked much cooler. Thanks for the inspiration, this was lots of fun.
Pugwash Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 yup, thanks guys. I'm going to keep experimenting. Excellent. The more you practice, the luckier you'll get.

fotoman Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 . I think it is. I have a definit anti streak. Rebel without a clue so to speak. And anti in the name of creativity I like corums anti attitude. I think its creative. I was suprised myself at how classy it ended up. I actually wanted more anti. I'm workin on a po witha nice orange crock band. That should be a statement

fotoman Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 Not my kind of statement. I am an establishment rebel. Its a fine line. In many ways I like to stick it to the man. But in many ways I am the man Such is the conflict that encompases my daily travels. I like to live on the edge (Of wus cliff). Who knows.
V Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Beautiful collection Aaron... and very nice 'dreamy' pictures

fotoman Posted July 28, 2007 Author Report Posted July 28, 2007 Pho your collection sure got big since the last time I saw you ? Looking good dude tried to get you for the last meetup - which was a total blowout. Funny thing, is i only have 3 of those watches left. I flip them over so fast i can't even keep up with the photos anymore collection is a little light on the reps now, but super cool pieces.
Stephane Posted July 28, 2007 Report Posted July 28, 2007 Very Nice way of presenting your collection Pho. Congrats, Cheers Stephane (the happy owner of 2 of your "retired" )
a german in denmark Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 Great, systematic presentation of a shitload of really great watches, wow.....
Kollektor Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 Thanks - really enjoyed your pics. Looks like you keep good company, too. Where did you get the correct dial ("L Swiss L" lowered) for your 177H?
By-Tor Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 Great collection. And some really nice photos. I especially like this LV shot: http://img135.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lvpat2yj5.jpg

I had to take down my lightbox from the kitchen table where it was for months. And just haven't taken the time to resetup, kids - they suck up the time. I'm going to have to set it up to unveil my new project - El Skawronik - I'm very excited about it. thanks for the comments
