i just received my latest issue of watchtime magazine with the 42mm lange zeitwerk on the cover. what a watch! something totally different than i've ever seen before. i'm a huge fan of big date watches, but this hour and minutes mechanism (with big jumping numerals) takes it to another level! my drool won't be hitting the crystal anytime soon with a starting price of $54,500. but what i would like to know is, could a complication like this be repped? either way, this is the best looking watch i've seen in a long time. enjoy!

fantastic looking watch. I'd like a solid Lange rep, even if it had to cover the back of the watch. I don't mind a top only view.

also, am I the only one who thinks that the steel part of the dial looks like a t-shirt for a guy with a beer belly?

A little.

yes it could be repped and powered by a unitas style movement, basiacaly what you have is a big date mech but rather than changing every day it changes every min and then another wheel that changes every hour, the technology is the same as for a date wheel.

I have a plan for my next watch to attach disks rather than hands and run them past a window in a raised dial, this would be sweeping rather than jumping but it is something i am working on in the design section of my mind
