Ronin
He is talking about the Alsta Dive watch worn by Richard Dryfuss in Jaws. There is a featurette in WatchTime Magazine this month. http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-ALSTA-NAUTOSCAPH-DIVER-JAWS-WATCH-17J-AUTO-NR_W0QQitemZ320479483881QQcmdZViewItemQQptZWristwatches?hash=item4a9e10d7e9

DiverDoc
I'd love to see reps of great vintage divers like the Alsta Nautoscaph. These were the watches worn decades before dive computers. Now one can get a very serviceable dive computer for under $200, with bottom time algorithms based on the latest ultrasound research. When I trained, a quality watch was as important as your regulator, and bottom time was calculated with the old Navy Dive Tables.
