Can you guys help me to find a watch in EU

Yeah, I just recently bought a black SFSO rep.

It's amazingly nice rep and I'm probably going to keep it for good... but the thing is... I prefer the blue dial and I want a gen of this watch anyway. I don't fear about getting "called out" or any of that stuff... the rep is amazingly close. But I want all my favorite models as gens.

There are lots of US-based sellers and the preowned prices of this model vary between $1100 - $1500. From EU I have only found SFSO's from places like Blowers Jewelers with a laughable price tag, like 2000$+ for preowned ones. They're laughable because the retail price of this watch isn't much more than that.

I want it shipped from EU because I can make the Euro/EU payment from my bank, and I don't want the 22% extra vat that comes with the foreign shipments (from US, etc.)

I'm willing to pay $1500 with a bank wire right now if only someone found me a blue Fish in good condition (with paperwork). I only need the paperwork because it'll be easier to resell with it (though I doubt I'll be selling any of my gens, ever). I've already bought 2 gens through this forum (Bond Seamaster and Aquaracer Chrono) so I'm trying my luck again. :)

Please keep your eyes open for me.

Thanks guys.

PS: Not interested in the 42mm model with polished middle links. Only this particular model (pictured below). Arrow hand, square hand... doesn't matter.

@Bike Mike: That's the exact watch that I want. Black is nice but I'm a sucker for blue dials.

Me too. I really like Breitlings blue dials. Have a Blue Baton SA as well. Also a SOSF in silver. Just waiting for the B01 in Blue w/ Silver Subdials to hit my AD.

I'll keep my eyes peeled By-tor! 2,000usd sounds like a lot! I'm here in spain.. aren't you in france.. or england?

Thanks, all.

I'm in Scandinavia (EU).

Official reseller prices are one thing but between the private watch collectors, preowned blue X-Plus XXL should be $1500 - $1550 max (in great condition). I've seen very good ones go for as low as $1.1K in TZ and WUS. Actually I saw the 42mm version for $990 last week. $2000 is just ridiculous. But I'm not El Cheapo... I don't care about a few bucks if the watch & seller are good.

Frank,

I found that too. That's crazy expensive. :D

They sold a similar one (black, on a rubber strap) in WUS just recently for $1000. Of course that's new and it's naturally more expensive... preowned is the way to go.

But thanks mate, much appreciated.

My friend, I live 20 miles from blowers and deal quite regularly with them and will be there on Saturday and see if I can work you a deal! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Would be amazing. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Blowers is expensive though. But they're very good and reliable. A good one for $1600 with papers is probably ok. I can make a EU-payment (bank wire) no problem. Blue versions aren't as common as black though... let's keep our fingers crossed.
