DSSD from Eurotimez

Hello everyone,

Tuesday after some problems I finally got my DSSD, from the date 03/12/09, which I commanded and I paid. I made the request to specifically Eurotimez DSSD V5 with DG4813 movement. But I think that's not good because the bezel insert is stuck between 9 and 10. On the other side has the numbers and marks the brand too thin and the 45 does not coincide with the 9, also the triangle is not flat in its upper side and does not coincide with the 12, but nevertheless if it matches the 15 with the 3.

Regarding the dial does not illuminate much, much more is illuminated hands and they are slightly yellow and not white. And finally the bracelet does not excel in the area of coupling with the box as genuine and as in other Eurotimez. Could it be that not DSSD V5? I think it should be like the Gadget Man

I wish you would tell me something about it and I'll try to put some pictures, although not very good, but I can forward some better.

From the pictures you've posted, triangle appears to line up with the 12 marker on the dial, and the 45 appears to line up with the 9 parker on the dial, but maybe that's something to do with the angle of the camera...

From what I understand, the top of the triangle is not supposed to be straight, but curved to follow the edge of the bezel insert... I would say if you're not happy, send it back, but to be honest, I don't think you will get any better than than in exchange...

I cant tell if the watch head and band are v5 but the bezel is not. It's a Josh Ultimate "bad 10" bezel.

Show me the diver's extention screws and pins .. the Josh Ultimate is bad there and the v5 has it right.

But for now .. it you bought a v5, you certainly at the very least got the wrong bezel if not the wrong watch.

Hi, I put new pictures and I think you will see these errors better.

JKay: I show you the diver's extention screws and pins. The screws are unscrewing the bracelet when I wear it.

At least the caseback is like in V5, but as you see missing two screws to secure the movement and dial.

I would send it back and wait for a response till after Chinese new years. Most dealers are not going to be active for another week!

After closly reviewing the pics it does seem to be a V5, I base this on that the V5 has the correct "maxi style" hour markers. The "Ultimate" hour markers are not as exact i.e. the metal ring portion is slightly thicker and the lume portion is slightly smaller. So it is a V5 no doubt, but it has an "Ultimate" incorrect 10 bezel. Another inconsistancy is the lume, which is terrible, even for rep standards, at the very least the V5 should have the same color lume on hands, markers & pearl. I hope that Eurotimez/Chris makes things right for you, if it were me I would ask for a totaly new replacemet & not just accept a replacement bezel.

It's a shame that the V5 is such a "hit or miss", plz keep us informed about the progress.

All the best always

G
