Look here why you cannot change date at midnight

In the 7750 movement (Asian or ETA) the date cannot ne changed around midnight. If you try it (it is not possible) you can damage the movement. This tuto shows easily how this happens.

And I always that that it was an urban myth!!! Good thing I never change the time at midnight! You honestly make things seem so simple when it comes to watches!

Thanks Francisco! I knew about not changing the date around midnight, but I never knew why that was. Also, I didn't realize that same issue applies to the the Gen ETA 7750 as well! I had always thought one day I would buy a gen ETA to fix the A7750 issues, but I guess a serviced A7750 would be just as good as the ETA?
