If you try it (it is not possible) you can damage the movement. This tuto shows easily how this happens. Next video has comments to explain the problem of changing the date at midnight. Also, I didn't realize that same issue applies to the the Gen ETA 7750 as well! I had always thought one day I would buy a gen ETA to fix the A7750 issues, but I guess a serviced A7750 would be just as good as the ETA?
