exper
Here are some wristies of the group ordered modified MBW AP Jumbo's that Rolexfinder organised for all of us. For me the main issue was the silver screws instead of the gold ones. Enjoy ! Also lastly with the GMT

specialvat
Mine is on holiday in germany atm, funny how all the watches seem to have the bracelet upside down. Easy fix just unscrew pins and change

fijikid
Looks very nice. Was getting worried after reading some of the less than enthusiastic responses by a few early recipients. Yours looks just gorgeous. If my blue faced #9 would just make its way outta JFK, I'd be happily wristed as well. Come on mailman! Bring me some love today! specialvat
Anyone spot a difference with mine ? . . . . . . . . . Thanks to Domenico for the pics and of course his great work. Just need to fill in the gaps around the bolt heads and I m semi happy Already got a plan for that, hope it doesn't go the way of the rose gold case mod Me like sparks that go six feet across the back yard
MyNameIsPeterAndImOld
How much was that cannon pinion fix? Looks great!
slickdick
Just need to fill in the gaps around the bolt heads and I m semi happy Curious to know what can be done about the gaps. What's your plan?
specialvat
PM domenico for prices on cannon pinion, and my dodgy plan for gaps is 0.4mm jewellers solder and a pointed tip soldering iron. Ten to one I balls it up, but with paul doing another project on a better dial I ve got a back up.

fijikid
Mine finally got here - mailman rang my bell while I was looking at the thread about the very watches! That amused me. Here's a quick and dirty. Overall, a beautiful watch. Unfortunately when you pore over something as this project watch has been pored over before it even gets to you - you look maybe a little too close. I think I need to grind out the bottom side of the bracelet to make it drape a little more. The case shape is really long, leading to some overhang issues if you don't have a wide flat wrist. All in all, it's one of my more handsome watches. The blue's a little darker than the vintage blue I was hoping for. Has a purplish tinge at some angles. Oh well, you can never (and I mean never) have everything in the rep world! Thanks, Paul, for putting your best foot forward on this project. No one can say you didn't put the time in. Just the shipping part would make me never want to do one of these group deals!
LeSentier
Absolute beauty.. First, I ordered a white one, then decided for a black one... I should have opted for a blue one. Congrats J

MADRED7
Thx for that link....we allready talked but I am not the blue-dial-guy. Talked to several others concerning this watch.....can you size the bracelet down to fit a 6.5" wrist???? Seems that many members cannot size their bracelet down...therefor sell it. Let me know, Theo
fijikid
You can Theo, you just gotta remove one of the permanent links. There's a tutorial about it on the forum somewhere. All you need is a dremel and a somewhat steady hand! .....can you size the bracelet down to fit a 6.5" wrist???? Theo
MADRED7
QUESTION: Is the case construction the same as gen?....case build like a container to put the movement in and press it with the bezel and those screws aginst the caseback to make it waterproof??? Just curious. Theo
specialvat
Bezel is press to fit, case back screwed on. I d like a 1:1 case made but the cash is considerable
