fijikid Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 Mine finally got here - mailman rang my bell while I was looking at the thread about the very watches! That amused me. Here's a quick and dirty. Overall, a beautiful watch. Unfortunately when you pore over something as this project watch has been pored over before it even gets to you - you look maybe a little too close. I think I need to grind out the bottom side of the bracelet to make it drape a little more. The case shape is really long, leading to some overhang issues if you don't have a wide flat wrist. All in all, it's one of my more handsome watches. The blue's a little darker than the vintage blue I was hoping for. Has a purplish tinge at some angles. Oh well, you can never (and I mean never) have everything in the rep world! Thanks, Paul, for putting your best foot forward on this project. No one can say you didn't put the time in.
