No aftermarket is equal to the gen in appearance, and I know its the resale value but $125 buys a lot of other things VS a JO insert and WM pearl.

For the record, I was in the NY Rolex Service Center and I could have got a bezel insert for $52 from them.

The catch? I needed to have a gen Sub to do the swap

Same thing in Europe. They swapped my 16710 insert to a brand new one for 30 Euros. They let me keep the old insert too, which (I heard) is actually against their principles. How "generous"... f*ckers!

Just take off the gen insert before you go to the AD and say that it has been lost. They have no choice but replace it.

I've just taken my gen bezel and insert into my Rolex dealer without watch and ordered a new insert without any problem.
