Welcome to he club. To fix the recessed date wheel you can try Franscisco mod or get a 7753. Then add a modded date wheel. But yes it will cost you either lots of time or some $$$.

If I'm not mistaken, the datewheels for the 7753 and 7750 are different in diameter.

Since this movement is a moddefied A7750, the date window on the dial will be in the wrong position for a gen 7753 movement.
