If put on a Jubilee band, what should be the correct model??

6521H or 65210H? Is the 555/555B endlinks correct?

The GMT experts please chim in.

Rolex did not offer the 6542 with a Jubilee, so there is no correct answer to your question. The correct bracelet for the 6542 is the Oyster 7206/65 or 80 or 6636/65 or 80. However, many have chosen to fit the Jubilee that was offered for the later 1675 GMT - the 6251H/55

Thanks a lot freddy. You are always helpful in sheding me the lights on my queries. Now I get the picture cleared.

BTW, I have seen some 6542 dials available described as "deep silver", "depth gilt"... are they something special?

Good Lord, Freddy you've got to provide a content advisory before posting that photo. I had chest pains that time.

Bertie, I think you're confusing the GMT dial with a Sub dial. The 6542 and 1675 do not have a depth rating on the dial, though they are available in white or gilt print. Early Subs had the silver and gilt print combo for depth. Here are some photos to show what I mean. White GMT, gilt GMT, gilt Sub.

Note also that sometimes a gilt dial will age until it's nearly impossible to tell it from a "white" dial.
